Teamwork Wins Again!
Last night (or this morning if you prefer) Zhohar and I had some truly amazing rounds with a squad comprised mostly of non-TGers! Zhohar and I were trading off squad leading and found ourselves inviting the same few guys back for round after round. The highlight of these matches was definately the revives. The enemy just could not kill our squad.
We had just loaded up Carebear. I asked Zhohar to lead one in chat. So he started a squad aptly named "Leadone". The squad consisted of the 3rd's own Zhohar squad leading, Juushou, Lock JayCool, ICE MTHeadshot, the 7th's Concr3te, and myself. We were on the EU side. Zhohar called out the kits...all Assault Medic. And of course, hold spawn. The squad leader decided to wait to see what the rest of the team did so we could fill in the gaps. There were 2 squads that spawned at Church so he called us in at Southtown and the battle commenced. PAC quickly moved up the west side and Capped office ruins as our squad took up a defensive postion just inside the wall on the southwest corner of Southtown. I must say, I have never seen that corner wall defended as well as it was last night. It was truly amazing! After aquiring the office ruins flag, most of the PAC team spawned there and made a hard push on the West side. But our defense was impenetrable. They sent wave after wave up the west side. Orders were to stay inside the wall and rocket and grenade them to hell. Keep everyone up. "Not one of us is to die this round" Zhohar said. Our squad revived each other time after time after time. The enemy commander hit us with at least three orbital strikes...which normally would have wiped an average squad in such a tight radius. But not us. No one was to die. We would rez right through the orbitals then move right back to the wall and reign death down on the approaching forces. At one point PAC got a beacon down far west of the wall, but that just resulted in faster ticket loss for their team. Then they tried to flank from the east along the south front wall of southtown, and managed to get Zhohar down. Of course we repelled the flank and Zhohar was back on his feet in seconds. "Make them dead" Zhohar would order. And that we did. The round ended without the enemy ever making a sustainable push past that wall. The points were not amazing, but the teamwork was truly phenomenal! My hat goes off to Zhohar, a great squad leader, and to my fellow squadmates TG and non TG alike. Well played.

We went on to play several more rounds of different maps with pretty much the same players. It was a blast! Several of the guys expressed interest in joining the ranks of TG. One of our non TG squadmates said, and I quote, "Man, I've had to pee for the last 3 rounds, but I don't want to lose my spot in the squad". LOL. We didn't lose a single match and finally we retired around 5am. What a great night of gaming! Hoorah TG!

Re: Teamwork Wins Again!
Nice write up Nuck. It's fun to hear about these great rounds. If you were on at that time then you may remember being opposite of Insun and I on a couple rounds of Camp Gib. last night as well. You guys did a great job all night of making the other team pay for their mistakes (including the mistake of jumping into a meat grinder
).
Let me just take this opportunity to remind everyone about the ribbon nomination system. If you think someone did something great or extra-ordinary then why not write up a quick nomination for them. It doesn't have to take all that long although you want to make sure to take enough time to do it right. Remember that this is one system here at TG that is not dependent upon the admins or officers. It's 100% dependent upon the normal, everyday TG ranks (grunts and jarheads) to send in the nominations. So hop to it soldier!
