Think about this: There are probably few gamers in the world that will experience a round like this. It would never even take place on a pub server. Because not only was this an extremely well played TG match, but as Zhohar said, an "epic fight" even within the TG ranks. The gathering of friends, the teamwork in the squads, the post round teamspeak roar. All of these things are TG. And all of these things make this particular round a historical one.

That sounds like it was a fantastic round! Wish I could've been there for it.

This was honestly the most nail biting round ever. I didn't have much to do with the epic ending, except to be *just* within reach for a last minute revive, but it was the last (for me) of a string of amazing games. After Damonte led us to a really satisfying victory on Carebear, and getting to run with sc1ence again, I had to call it a night early. I knew any match following would only be a letdown.

Wow, awesome, never read this AAR (saw it after it was linked to the SL thread in the General Discussion Forums by Damonte), now that's called grit and determination...

Off topic, but I'm so proud of this particular comeback, it was on a pub 24/7 CampG server. PAC and although we had dominated the whole round, they were just about to win by an 80 ticket margain, all they had was Harbour, and I took the EU walker (which I had been owning in) to Harbour and capped them out single-handedly, we only had 2 tickest when I capped it, and only 1 when the round ended. That was one of the best 2142 moments I've ever had, but damn, you didn't even cap them out, you guys actually just pulled together to get all those revives and kills together, and you also did well throughout the whole match. now that's only possible on a TG server.

The round is clear from the 40 ticket countdown. I still remember laying on the roof critically injured, one ticket remaining, and kicking myself for losing the game for my team. Next thing I know, "CLEAR!" and Sunshine is standing next to me, that big beautiful man.

This is a bump for all the newer members of TG. It is also a MUST READ for everyone. This round embodied what TG is about, and what TG playstyle can pull off.

A few mights ago, ReaperAssault and myself were on the PAC team, assaulting Camp Gibraltar. We successfully broke through Toll and made our way to capture Ruins and then EU Base. We held EU Base for a long time, but eventually were overwhelmed. When we fell back and moved on Central Camp (the team had captured Toll), the score was about 12-13, EU favor. The tickets seemed to be dropping faster on our team as the score was 6-9 (EU favor) at one point. Someone in our squad said "We've lost this round." Reaper none-too-kindly pointed out in his sunshine-y way that the game wasn't over. I made it clear that "We are not going to lose this round. Revive all of our teammates and keep pressing forward!"

At 1-3, the same person bemoaned our loss. But... when the smoke cleared... we won the round 1-0.

Point to all the newer TG players. The round isn't over until it is over. Fight to the end and don't make a possible loss into a certain one by giving in too soon.

I joined that squad late that round (while defending EU base), it was on the 2 Level Unlock night and this was on the main server.

I remember the 1-0 at the end, it was pretty intense.
