    AAR 21st sponsered Internal Scrim

It was a great night for TG! The 21st held a challenger vs the 21st internal scrim on wednesday night March 19th. We had invited some new comers to TG to get them involved and a great time was had by all. A special thank you to Lyra and |TG-11th|Smachin07 for bringing some veteran force to oppose the 21st. We played two rounds on Camp G best ticket count wins. 21st Started as EU and put up a strong defense against our challengers putting up a 20 ticket bleed lead. After some frantic battles the challengers PAC put together a strong push and cap EU out. The round ended 17 - 0 challengers. The next round the 21st was on Pac. We went risky and rushed in with all Recon. We quickly capped the EU base and Toll. However the EU team was to good and held us off and capped back there flags. The Challengers Beat the 21st! 38 - 0? for a total of 45 - 0. We hope that when we have this again we will have an even stronger turn out! Thank you to everyone who showed up!

Everyone did an awesome job on the challenger side. The second round was looking to be a loss for us, but everyone held their heads, and their guns steady, and we pushed back and held on to our flags. Great job to everyone, it was a pleasure playing with you all.

Cheers for all the challengers that came on wed! Awesome time guys.

Re: AAR 21st sponsered Internal Scrim

Thanks for game guys had a great time with some new friends.
I was asked to give a brief layout of our game plan from the other night.
First of all a great small game map.
Large enough to move around in with plenty of protection to do battle. Small enough not to get lost in so the games did not seem to go on to long. (Like my message)
Tactic: Protect our main base (first base near starting point) with numbers so we always have A good spawn point and a defense set in place BEFORE other team could strike.
Second: Send Bouty and I out to scout a second flag to hold. We took the 5 min pre game to make some dry runs. Find a good protected route two guys could use and defend easily.
We chose to hit the back flag thinking the other team would push with numbers. We made sure to keep a good spread so rockets could only kill one at time, waiting for all three rockets before we tried to revive. Squad leader always to trail ,point man to take first hit. First strike on flag head on to test ,second from a protected side, third when we took flag was to circle from behind and strike. Keeping squad leader in flag area but out of plain site. Because it was a back flag it made it easier to defend. Other team could only attack from one side so we did not need numbers to protect flag. I think that’s about it, hope it helps .
