    Buggy fun

I was playing on Suez Canal and I was on the EU. Rasta and i were a small anti-tank oriented squad and we were having some fun at dry lake. I would hop into a buggy and drive while he was in the rear seat either repair or shooting anti tanks rounds. We had an APC and a tank come over the hill so he and i hopped in and went after the tank. Rasta hopped out behind the tank and shot in the rear with a Pilium and scored an instant kill. I round with the buggy and pick up right when the APC opens fire. We both round the apc and shoot together and kill the APC. Rasta kept on crabbing about how he didn't get that on video

    Re: Buggy fun

Heh, buggy doom is always fun. It exploits the natural lone-wolfing of people in armor -- a newbie with eighty tons of steel around him believes himself to be invincible and able to rush a whole team alone.
All armor, like all pretty ladies, are best complimented by a proper escort. It assures of someone watching your back (whoops, this analogy is getting out of hand) and watching for fast movers.

    Thumbs up Re: Buggy fun

That particular moment was extreme fun, we had a great squad!

The tension was huge as I was on foot and very close to the tank and the APC, while Sir-Nerd was disturbing the armor with his FAV super maneuvers .

After these 2 armor kills, Sir-Nerd got me be back on the FAV, with just 3 points of health and we got back to our defending base (Dry Lake).

I love paying cat and mouse against walkers and tanks. It's even more fun with a speeder on Northern Strike.

Can buggys go in between the legs of a walker (never been dumb enough to try).

I can say from personal experience that yes they can, as well as the Hachimoto(sp?). I dont think it is supposed to be possible, but i have had it happen once or twice. Normally you just blow up.

Well yes that tends to happen when 50+ tons of armored walker leg, comes down upon a 1/2 ton buggy. But yeah buggies and Hachi's can go between walker legs,

just time it very, very carefully.
300 to 1? No problem. Might need more bullets though...
