Shockwave week 5 - post match (EU wins)

Week 5 another intense round. Kudos to EU for a well played match, in my opinion bleed as usual played a major part. PAC held 2 of the 3 flags the early part and the ticket lead, EU took and held 2 of the 3 flags the second half and showed a staunch defense to pull out the win.

Good game everyone, very intense match, but I had full confidence in our EU team. Great job Arithea as CO.

I was shaking at the end cause we had like a 50 ticket deficet for more than half the match.

Very intense match indeed. I wonder though if it would have made a difference to the outcome of the match if Rasta didn't steal our walker from our UCB. an unfortunate misunderstanding, lol

    Hello,

I would like to say my deepest apologies to all for doing such a bad action.

    I feel so ashamed!

I really get confused there, as it was my first time to play this small Belgrade map and I did not know the wareabouts.

I was under the Ruins flag on the North for the second time, and I saw the Walker standing idle not very far from me. I did not know that there was the spawn point of PAC Walker. So I run and jumped in and drive it to Ruins.

Then I heard Arithea saying something like: "Hey, someone took the PAC Walker!!! No!" and then I understand the situation and jumped out. Someone from our team drive it back.

Again, I feel sorry for this and please consider my apology.

If you believe that we have to do a re-match please post about.

I dont think that we need a re-match! As far as I know you were in the walker for what? 30 seconds? And someone was so nice and drove it BACK so ... I think this is not the reason why PAC lost this match! ...*rethinking* ... 18 tickes left ... hmmm .... (KIDDING)

It was a great match we all had fun and therefore I'd say mission accomplished! Lets go for the next awesome battle!

Firstly, I would like to say well done to the EU team. We were looking strong for quite a while, but you guys held fast and turned it around.

Secondly to Rasta....These things happen Rasta! No re-match needed as far as I'm concerned.

I too would like to say sorry..........

sorry for trying a new mouse for a scrim!
sorry for messing with the sensitivity settings for my mouse!
sorry for not remembering what it was set to in the first place!
sorry for having a bad round overall!!!

Great match everyone, and a big congrats to the EU team for pulling out that win.

And my aplologies to my fellow PAC members, my performance that round was not up to my standards. I think Zhohar and I were equally frustrated with the effect we had on that battle.

Aye, Takk, it was frustrating. Thank you for sticking with me, and thank you for working hard. We may not have gained many points but we certainly harassed the walker and kept off a couple of good pushes. You did good work and I'd be damned proud and pleased to squad with you next Sunday.

All I can say is, Great job everyone! Well Done EU! I had a great time and my squad performed very well. One of my favorites was blowing up the EU walker with RDX, turning and seeing the muzzle flash of the shotgun that ended my reign of destruction!

    Great Match!

Rasta, no need for a re-match...SH** Happens!

It was a really fun yet frustrating match to CO. My strategy was probably flawed in places. Well done to Arithea you played really well (obv). The way you boxed us on Comm using the walker was well done. Who was the pilot of that walker out of interest? I think I only got it down once the entire match.

Don't think it'll be so easy next time for you EU...

Re: Shockwave week 5 - post match (EU wins)

Glad you liked the strats. Though I have to say, the walker maneuvering was mostly Sir-Nerd's doing--I just told him basically where to stay and he did the rest.

At least you had commander assets for the whole game! The annoying thing about boxing the other team in at Com is that they can slip down and blow your assets before you can do anything about it, and when you do, they're so close to either of the other flags that they can just charge over and take them. That, and the squad at Ruins gets pounded constantly from two directions. But hey, it eventually worked! We started off with a different plan, but rolled with the punches, which is what pulled us out of the fire long enough to get the win.

Besides, we thought you guys liked it at Com. It looked like quite the party, so we didn't want to break it up.

That was a great game, guys! I almost wish I could've been boots-down for it. PAC, you guys gave a great account of yourself. If you'd have been in the room with me, you'd have heard some choice words a time or two. We look forward to seeing you on the field next week, and believe me, we'll be bringing our A-game!
