    Shockwave week 6 - Tampa - post match

    Another very exciting match was played today on the oversized Tampa map. Nice mix of armour and infantry action around both flags. Well played by both sides, and for a large portion of the game each side held control of one flag. Post your thoughts / opinions here and we'll see you next week.

    I've made some movies and taken some photos -- I'll post them later. I'm a bit busy now but suffice to say -- this was, without a doubt, the best round of Shockwave we've played so far. Absolutely insane fun all around.

    i just expect that we ,in the EU team , are going be able to win in the next fights, not because i dont like loosing, because i want this campain to continue cause its very enteining and playing BF without all of this plans and tactics is not so fun. SEE ya in the next round.

    Evil recon in enemy locked Base aiming for the Assets:

    *You see a wild Arithea!*

    *Aiming Zeller at Arithea*

    *Arithea stares at me*

    I may not shoot... I may... not... may not.... maybe she will engage? will she? .. or wait it out? till I turn my back then stab me?

    *Arithea starts to pistol me*

    *ZAP*

    *Arithea falls to the ground*

    Dont worry! We play all maps. It doesnt matter if PAC (or EU you never know ) have enough wins. we will play on every map there is (except NS).

    I had a lot of fun in that round. Mic problems and a mid-game side change! It is a very fun map indeed.

    That was great. Definitely the most fun I've had COing in a while.

    @Lyra
    Since when you were in EU's base when it was capable surely you can fire at Arithea before she fires on you? It obviously isn't discussed in rules since the rules were created before assault lines came along but I believe we need a rules clarification.

    Assault lines are a bit of a gray area. When the homebase is unlocked its just a normal flag and if its locked its a UCB.

    But surely it wouldnt be nice to enter the UCB as recon and stay behind the COs back - wait till tis unlocked and then stab the instant that happens

    No it wouldn't but wasn't it unlocked when you were in there?
