Sc1ence & TOOmuchMcLovin pwning in the middle of the night
I got up this morning had breakfast and did a few things, then I decided to check the forums, then i decided to check game monitor and wow our 2142 still has traffic on. It looks like our server will be busy 24/7 this weekend
Sc1ence and co TOOmuchMcLovin had stayed up all night playing
the server population was low so it was 16 player maps infantry only and it was great
it makes a change from me being tired playing US folk in the early hrs of euro time, changing to me being fresh euro morning and playing US folk at 5-6am their time

Our main server starting around 2 AM and lasting until 7 AM EST. Something in my circadian rhythm broke and I was in it for the long haul. We played nothing but 16 player maps, mostly with no vehicle options. belgrade, carebare, suez etc. We had great time playing up all night. I must say, it was a really really fun time. I now have to make sure the rotation is back to normal. cause if those maps are played with 46 people it will be an epic fragfest... Thanks for staying up and playing late night TG. And silver, the pancakes were delish. Thanks!

When I was a Dungeon Master on a PvP NwN server I would pick each map on sort of a gut feel based on the teams and the server mood. Last night had very much that kind of feel. It was very enjoyable.
Which gives me an idea:
We are going to set up a few profiles in bfcc. Each profile will be a different map rotation. The ONLY difference between profiles will be the map rotation. We can apply profiles without restarting the server. We can then select which map you may want the profile to go on.
We will set up a small map rotation for later at night when the server population dies down. We could then change it over in the morning when all the sane people wake up. If an admin is on as the server is dying down, do not hesitate to ask for a map or rotation change.

Guess you haven't played tiny Tunis yet? That is a 16 player map and we've actually played it with 64 players way back when we were trying to stress the server and figure out what was causing the frequent crashes. Talk about a frag fest...

16 player maps with 48 people is crazy. if you can up the tickets to like 300 or something it would be a blast. How about next password Friday we give it a try?
