    Enemy (Shield Up) Titan Spawners

    Well today I was playing a game of BF2142 on the TG server and it was in Titan mode. I happen to like Titan mode so I stayed a played a bit (I was lagging a lot but I still played). I joined a squad and waited in our Titan with our SL, waiting for a transport ship. As I was waiting, I turned around and saw an enemy standing in our Titan (where the ships and controls are) which shouldn't be happening and on top of it, the shield weren't even down yet. After I killed him I waited for around 2 more minutes for a transport ship and the kid ended up in our Titan again! I think this kids name was ****** or something like that. Was this a new glitch or something or maybe it was just lag? I'm not really sure what.

    Hmm, this sounds really odd.

    I doubt it's a hack, cause of the recent patch. though, knowing EA, they probably cut some corners. :\

    I'd personally put it as lag, but i can't say for sure. I'll look into it, just for you.

    probably some type of wall glitch. you should download the demo, fraps it, and report it to the admin forum.

    Yep, then you can see what happened, if he glitched into it, or if he hacked.

    Two things that can happen:

    A) In very, very rare occurrances, someone ends up spawning in the wrong Titan.

    B) In very rare occurrances, after podding onto the Titan, you somehow pass through the floor and end up in whichever room that's below.
    GOD IS DEAD. THE N00BS TEAMKILLED HIM.

    I remember B happening to me once. I was spawning on a beacon on top of the titan, and i went through the roof of the titan and into the top floor of the cargo bay. Took me awhile to get a grip of what just happened and realize i wasn't quite dead yet, and died attacking consoles 1 and 2.

    I really like the opposite.

    You die while attacking one of the consoles, and while awaiting a revive your body passes through the floor and falls to the ground below the Titan.

    This happens quite a bit.

    when you pod with the apc it's possible to pod directly into the titan guns room (main enemy spawn point)

    i have done it once by accident, and i saw a kid doing it regulate on purpose.

    I've seen this happen once. A guy spawned right in front of me on our own titan hanger.

    I've seen this both as an exploit and as a mistake in game. Normally if this is done intentionally, IE the same person does it twice, I would string the individual up from his toes. If by mistake I would advocate that you get out of there FAST. Most people who realize what is going on are going to scream ADMIN as soon as they see you! If you don't want to be mistaken as a cheat better to die quick (suicide button) then get caught there.

    lol I was gone for a couple of days and then I come back to all of these replies. One thing I noticed about Shurikane's explanation, the titan shield was not even down yet so podding shouldn't have been possible because the shield was still up. To Fubar, I'm not sure what map it was. To tell you the truth, I forget. And this guy (same exact guy) spawned into the titan twice. I've never seen this happen in any of the old updates, just v1.50 so perhaps EA made a couple of edits or modifications to the titans or someone is just using a somewhat "dormant" glitch (dormant meaning not many people see this all the time). I do believe that EA made some more anti cheat corrections and things so maybe a glitch to do with the titan was attempted to be corrected and it wasn't corrected or another glitch has opened up.

    He must've exploited the glitch or hacked. Why would a normal user be able to do it twice, or want to?
