I assume you recorded it in parts. What's the biggest single file's size?

If you can break it down into smaller sizes that would help. My connection is good, but at that size it could take a while. Plus I would be limited depending on your your upload speed. I will see if I can get access to my friends FTP server.

They range between 4 gigs and 1 megabyte. However, AOL is having issues. How would I be able to give the footage to you?

Right, I am still trying to get an FTP server set up. If that does not work I see about a plan B. With the FTP option all you will need to do is get an FTP client (Filezilla works great) put in the info and upload it. it will take some time because of the large file size but if you set it up to run overnight it should not be too bad.

Before any of that can happen I need to get a few things worked out. I'll let you know, but it could a few days or even a week or 2. I'm not sure. The good news is if we can figure this out now, next time will be cake walk.

In the mean time, to help speed things up, you could start to go through the footage and find the highlights. Stuff that you want to show off. That way I don't have to spend hours watching it all for the best parts.

For example: Take one of the longer files and say at 10min 15 sec there is this really cool walker kill. Then at 15min 45 sec there is some great pwnage, or at 7min 33 seconds the vote kick for Reader shows up.

It's not looking that way, I converted the .avi files to .mpg and I still have the same issue. I'm a good recorder but this issue is driving me nuts. It's called Movie Maker yet I cannot edit my movies! We need to find a solution soon because I really want to show everyone what happened.

Can you compress the files with, say, windows media encoder? (free software provided by Microsoft, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia)

Nothing that I know of will host that much space for free. I spoke with my friend and we are having some issues with his FTP.

I am exploring other options at this time.

Sounds like you have uncompressed video files. Even a little compression will significantly reduce the files sizes.
