Re: Comments on the Pasword Night: Fri July 18th
Hmmm... maybe password night should become a regular event...
I wish I hadn't missed that Berlin round, but I'm so glad I was there for Camp Gib. That was some insane crazy fun.
Kudos to our commander, the lovely Arithea. Kudos to my squad and other medics that kept me to 10 deaths. Never have I seen a round where EU is penned in EU Base come down to the wire like that.
Ahhhh, I did enjoy it so.

Re: Comments on the Pasword Night: Fri July 18th
Not too long ago we were hosting one or two events a week, but attendance steadily declined to the point that it became an exercise in frustration. We would come up with new ideas or recycle old ones and very few people showed interest.
If there's interest in doing this again on a more frequent basis, we'll give it another shot.

Re: Comments on the Pasword Night: Fri July 18th
I have never seen EU penned at EU Base on Camp Gibraltar without being capped out. Never. In over a year of playing this game, every time I've seen the EU team pushed back all the way to EU Base, they've lost it. That was a fantastic game! PAC ended up with both of our walkers, and we still managed to keep the flag.
I think everybody on both teams deserves a ribbon for that game alone. It was awesome.
Edit: Just thought of something--does anyone have screenshots of the scoreboard for that game? I think that needs to go on my I-love-me wall.

It was awesome. Some of the hardest non-competition rounds I've probably ever played. Looking forward to the next one... there will be a next one, right?? PLEASE!

Thanks!
11 tickets...I knew it was something absurdly close, but I couldn't remember the exact count.

Re: Comments on the Pasword Night: Fri July 18th
Yh I remember that. On the Berlin round, I was part of the excellent squad that kept the team busy on the East side. I couldn't believe we had capped out. We had taken Square and saw Outpost go neutral and couldn't believe it. One great part for me was that round with Zhohar SLing on Cerbere, he had to go AFK and the 5 of us were just frantically trying to defend Cerbere, we came stupidly close to losing it quite a few times, and it got neutral as well more than once I think. We did a great job, none acting as leaders, but just as a single solid unit being attacked from pretty much all sides. When Zhohar came back about 4 or 5 minutes later his words were..."well, nothing much has changed..."
Dude, you had no idea
.
In fact every round mentioned was an absolutely fantastic one, as well as that one on Gibraltar (In the squad led by Lorax) - The South side on the upper level across the bridge...epic battle of rockets, Sentry's, Ganz's, Snipers (Lots of the TG-55 up there, we made a couple good pushes, but not enough).
Verdun as well was great - was with Zhohar and remember those frantic minutes.
Suez Canal was awesome...the chokepoint to end all chokepoints.
Belgrade was fun, keeping Pond and Ruins as EU, led by Lorax was excellent.
Mini Tuins, almost capping out but then fighting on the EU Base in those last few minutes was amazing, again led by Zhohar.
Would definitely attend if something like this happened again. Almost every round was pretty memorable, especially my last one, where I was in the sky. (NO I WAS NOT HIGH ZHOHAR I WAS REALLY IN THE CERBERE SKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)Anger is a gift - Malcolm X

Password night was definately a blast, I liked the choice of password aswell. IT made for some funny teamspeak banter.
I think we should do this every other Friday. Not too much but just enough to make it special.|TG-21st|Flexon

Every other Friday sounds good to me.
Every Friday makes it not-so special.
Once a month = only 12 nights a year...not enough IMHO

Re: Comments on the Pasword Night: Fri July 18th
lol that video! I managed to kill myself jumping out of the second floor of the building. Someone through a grenade up there and it knocked out our commander and brought me to like 5 health. I revived him then jumped over the side to bring out my Herzog and I fell flat on the ground!
Fun match indeed, I still remember saying "Watch, they are going to cap us out!" A minute later the poo hit the fan!

Re: Comments on the Pasword Night: Fri July 18th
Lots of fun, I finally pulled the sniper kit out of the closet on camp gib and sniping was fun
. Zhohar, great job on that push on outpost, I was dumbstruck that the only possible way you could win, the capout, wasn't met with heavier resistance. Great commanding Arithea and great squad leading all. Loved Smachin's squad, especially when we were running up columns as fast as you could when the stairs are filled with apms and people shooting down at you.
