Commanding on a losing round
It’s 2140 and cold in Berlin, the enemy has 3 out of 4 of our set up troop briefing stations, they have captured the home base and our troop’s are frazzled after our commander dies and the squads are hurting and I am in the Delta squad and have little training on commanding but I try. As I try to find some cover after finding the commander’s bag and I go to work. “Delta Squad do you have active cloak in you’re kit?” I ask. “Yes I do.” The squad leader replied. “Then will you cloak to our home base and capture it?” I ask. “Yes Sir!” As I tries to figure out how to use the commanding assets Delta Squad asks for UAV support as they try to capture the home base. As I think back to my training I find the think I’m looking for, a button to active the map in my solider HUD.
I drop a UAV on the home base and ask Bravo Squad to fall back on the home base to defend. They comply. Alpha Squad goes for the Recon station close to the Enemies base. They finally capture it and I get my intell back online, I hear that the enemy as 1/3rd of there troops left and I drop a orbital strike on where the statrak tells me where they are bunched up the most. They have one 8th of the troops they used to. I order all my troops to move up to the diversion base in the square of the town.
They have captured it, so I send my squad defending me up to the home base to defend. I get a radio transmission from my recon base that they have killed the enemy commander and that the enemy is retreating! I tell all my troops to meet in the square for extraction. We did it we won.
Hoped you liked my AAR. This a happened on 10-21-08 in the mid morning Usa central time.

Nice work picking up the commander hat their Tigerblitz. It takes courage to put that hat on and it sounds like you did it with style and under pressure too!
Congratulations on your win, it sounds like you earned it.

Re: Commanding on a losing round
Nice one mate, lucky I wasn't around, otherwise your attention would most probably be on TK'ing me.
JK! Doesn't take that much time and effort.
Seriously, nice one bud. Command when I'm playing and I'll follow you into the chasm.
