A awesome round i particpated in and deserved to be talked about.

    I. Just. Had. The. PROUDEST. Moment. of my Battlefield 2142 life.

The team and i was on Fall of Berlin, and we were EU. I took command, and we started off with a solid defence at Roadblock, with good coverage all around. This lasted about 75-100 tickets, so EU was on a big lead.

But somehow, a squad slipped behind the defence and go to Outpost. Killed me, blew up all my assets (orbital and ect) and took Outpost. As my team spreaded the defence a little thin to try to take Outpost back, [I will admit my fault sorta cause i wanted Outpost back] the enemy took Roadblock.

We then traded bases back in forth, as the fighting got really intense. With thier APC's and Walkers, and commander assets, they beat us back out of Square and we had one base left. The team then tried thier hardest to keep that base. I was amazed how hard they were trying. But again, we were outgunned.

Here comes the awesome part of this round, and my proudest moment. I will recount where i was at the time.

I was under the building south of Square, when our last base was taken. I was sniped and as soon as i was revived at some point i realize that the last base WAS taken. Then i died again and saw on my map that a few people, about 4-6 of DIFFERENT SQUADS, was near Outpost. I urged them with all my might that they may take it back. As the enemy closed in on them, the rest of the team was encouraging them on!

TG, being the awesomeness it was, took back Outpost! I was overjoyed! I started capping out NICE JOB GUYS AWESOME! I, with my superly awesome kick ass team, defended Outpost and with my newly repaired assets, we won with 60-70 tickets left.

A BIGGGGGG awesome gratatitudeal shout out to those who made that possible!

THIS is why i love TG!

Only one thing to say do not write AAR WHILE commanding on a round and leaving people behind. Thank you. Nicely written.

I agree that was a very fun round. I was in ThaDoctah's squad and we went "oh, no we lost our only flag, here's hoping squad 3 can get outpost back!" And we did. It is games like that that keep bringing me to boot up BF 2142 and play.

Yeah that round was pretty awesome. I hold my breath waiting to spawn back on Out-Post. I was sure we were getting capped out. Rushed to repair the assets and we finally got the round. Awesome teamwork there!

I have to ask, did you write the AAR on a separate PC or the one that you were actually playing 2142 on?

Not in the brave new world of 2142 they don't.

Excellent writeup by the way. Too bad I wasn't there to experience it!
