    Now That's How It's Done!

Had an awesome round earlier, yesterday, actually. 12/6/08. Verdun was the map,PAC was the side, Zhohar was the SL. Volunteered to be dedicated engy for the squad. Started at Church, destroyed a tank and walker there, then took a buggy to Hillside after a failed attack on the PAC back flag. We were doing an awesome job of stopping the armor coming out of the EU uncap. One tank driver decided enough was enough and tried to take a long way around to run. Zhohar instructed the squad to get a shot in if we could, but to let him run. I was the farthest away, but had a Sudnik in hand. I fired off a shot after the tank, arcing it around some trees and over a low wall to nail the tank right in the behind as it was already driving over the bridge to Church. To get an idea of how awesome this was, I fired from the hill west of Hillside CP, about halfway to the enemy uncap. Thats nearly half the map right there. Just goes to show that no armor, no matter how far away, is "safe".

Zhohar, if you would be so kind as to find the BR file for that and post it so others can see that shot, that would be great. I can't do it on my Mac, it's so buggy it refuses to recognize those files.

    I remember that round!

It was awesome. I saved the battle recorder. I think I was in your squad (Squad name "AAAARMOR") as a dedicated engineer/tank also.

A couple of highlights include shooting a random tank shell into the fog and ending up getting 2 kills 5 seconds later. Battlerecorder revealed that I hit a flying gunship halfway across the map going full speed.

Also, a tank shell fired from church all the way to their other flag taking out a squad of 4 people with one hit. SO SATISFYING.

EDIT: I just realized that the flag in question was not Hillside, but Valley Farm. When every CP has "Farm" in it's name, it's hard to keep them straight :P

@Saphric: AAAARMOR was the other 6-man squad.... then there was Zhohar's, and then like two-three 4-man squads

    I'll do you one better.

But here's the BR file for your own perusal.
