    Marvelous comeback!

GMT 17.00 on TG main server

We were seeding the TG main server and got couple good rounds both ending with cap out, as there were about 10 guys.
Then came cerbere, and right from the start we were overpowered by the master minds of the other team (how I hate IDS) and my lonely <3 admin (maybe cos it was missing S it was so lonely :P) tried to do some damage to the enemy ticket lead hitting the other points than squad 1. Eventually this didn't lead to much because enemy pushed us off from every point we could capture from them.

I was really starting to get pissed off at this stage. 3 walkers and 15 deaths later I finally got 1 squad member, Cavall, every squad lead's dream First we had good walker run where I cleared hostiles shooting at the big guy, and walker held all the pushes to our freshly taken roadblock. Eventually we didn't get many tickets but this gave me new spirit to start fighting again, and some noble spirit agreed to command us.

We had about of 80 tickets left when we took command, it wasn't easy either thanks to good attempts that our enemies made to keep the flag. We were about to hold it here, but tickets were going down so I said that we can only go for cap out and we are going to need damn lots of luck if we're going to make it. EU still had 3 flags so other guys would be needed to take at least one while we cap / defend roadblock. We took it and then we started to defend, and telling in voip how we have to defend this push or we will not win, and we defended. It was damn lucky, I just ran out of ammo when final foe was running for revives, but friendly nade came and killed us both securing this point.

At this point I still didn't have any faith for cap out, enemy team was steel hard and until now nothing had gone very well. I went to check pushes on the left hill but nothing came, and then our team somehow managed to get church, and it was good job they did there too. Part of the enemy team I called their ''backbone'' (good TG lead + max most of their max ranked players in one squad) moved to take church leaving south town. I saw that we got once shot and we gotta take it (took me while to see it though) and we went to flank our enemy's south town defense (perfectly positioned to back up their take-church squad). We rushed into flag and somehow I was again able to say something to do with ''if we don't take it, we won't win'' until then area was still pretty clear, but really soon we were surrounded by red dots.
I didn't really follow what our guys did on church but they were good!
I was laying in that little truck box near the flag, shooting all who tried to jump in, while Cavall held his own killing those not doing that. Cavall wen't down and flag was going back to our enemy's favor, but I was still there. I shot whoever I could and eventually hide in there from their massive frag wave that followed, but now they got no back-ups. Their ''backbone'' was dead and couldn't respawn but they had church neutral. When the south town flag wen't up I still didn't believe it, so I was sure somehow they would find a way to take flag. I check roster and all hostiles were dead what a moment that was. 20 tickets left with no other way to win than cap out, and it happened.

I'm really hoping that I can get you guys a video about this, but have to say that even with so few numbers, this is absolutely in my top 3 best games!

Really good work from our team, and if it wasn't such a good timing, I wouldn't be here telling how good our comeback was, as the enemy team was TOUGH and they seemed to have no weak points. Thank you to all in that game, seeding turned to great game that I won't forget!

EDIT: Seems like red names didn't turn out great

Nicely done from your team! Couldn´t believe my eyes when it dawned to me that we were capped out... grrr.

Sadly I also missed my jump to the truck you were hiding in and was shot to the face in the process...

    Moral of the Story:

there are 2 flags you DO NOT WANT on cerbere. And that are office ruins and church. Both so easy to camp

    Exclamation Updated

    UPDATE!

Made the video featuring main parts of the battle, it is 10minutes long including walkers, shotties, jumping Hablos, crashing cars and much much more! Also my first over 3minute long bf2142 movie!

Please watch and comment, annoying part was that I wasn't able to get the ticket difference into the movie, so there is no way to tell how close it was in the end!

And yes I once again failed in the credits and there is S in end of tacticalgamer.com *sigh*

Tried to get main parts of battle but never got shot of those brave man defending church while I was capping. Too many nades so didn't dare to turn my camera!

Loving the vid mate. Must have been frustrated getting repeatedly owned by the shotgunners at the start!

    Re: Marvelous comeback!

We had the same thing happen to use tonight, except we somehow were able to make their tickets hit 0 before us.

    EU: 70 PAC:110
    EU:33 PAC: 76
    EU: 7 PAC: 30
    EU: 7 PAC: 0

It was amazing, I'll see if I can pull a video up.

Good write up, nice vids. Always happy to hear of close rounds and valiant efforts made to secure victory! Tip: save you screenshots as .png files to make both sides readable when postable.
