    BFCL AAR: 3rd vs 11th

    The map was 16 player Minsk, with infantry only. The 3rd started on offense, with the 11th defending. The Thunderbolts rushed through the trenches to Front Lines, sending rockets for cover. Some handy reviving saw them on the flag quickly, and the 11th looking like they wished they had a transport or gunship!

    But then, to their credit, the 11th really picked their game up. There was a running fight between Front Lines and South Outpost. A couple of times the 3rd almost took it only to be driven back. Then they did take it, and the 11th recapped it. Finally the 3rd pushed the 11th back to Monument Compound, and looked close to a cap-out. But the 11th wasn't done. They snuck someone behind the 3rd and capped South Outpost. Then while the 3rd was taking that back, they took Front Lines back. The 3rd pushed forward and managed to cap Front Lines, but the 11th snuck past and took South Outpost again. Then while the 3rd was taking South Outpost, they took Monument. It's tiring just thinking about it again!

    Now finally something of a standoff was established. The 3rd kept a solid line, careful not to allow anyone to sneak past this time. They pushed up on the flag once and were driven back. They came in again, and this time were successful, capping the 11th out in a very hard-fought round.

    Score: 75-0 for the 3rd

    Round 2 saw the 3rd on defense. The 11th pushed hard on both north and south alternatively, but was never really able to get a foothold. They got someone in the building once, but an APM took care of that. Despite valiant efforts, the 11th was unable to cap a flag.

    Score: 97-0 for the 3rd

    In all the 11th put up an impressive fight, showing great grit and fighting spirit. Good reviving and shooting, and they earned a lot of respect tonight. Keep up the good work guys and Dr. Beat!

    One of the toughest rounds we've had in BFCL so far, for sure. The 11th put up a hell of a fight in the first round.

    Good to hear! Minsk is a tough map on Offense in any setting, especially against a well organized defense at the first tower. Thanks for the write up.
