    Amazing Squad 3/31

Over multiple rounds last night, I had a mix of TG and non-TG players that were playing at an exceptional level. This squad not only committed themselves to the orders I gave them, but also succeeded at tasks that I expected them to fail. For instance, I asked them to attack a flag at one point so I could use their assault as a distraction while I hit a back flag. The flag they were attacking was heavily defended, but they somehow got it.

The squad also showed exceptional teamwork throughout the rounds. Because of them I was able to test some new defense/offense strategies that turned out to work amazingly well.

The entire night, I ran Recon with the Otus out, and all I have to say about that is Oh Em Gee. More than half of my kills tonight were because of the Otus. I can not even begin to explain how useful that thing is. Let's just say it's a slow pulse IDS+PDS+Scanner.

Without further ado, the squad members that I can remember from last night:

    |TG-55th| CoffinMaker
    |TG-55th| Drennyn (you were there for two rounds, but you did alot in that round for us!)
    BBMag
    Cavali
    Dissonance69
    DoctorBlood
    |TG-AIR| Global.Cooling
    |TG-Irr| Manysid (sorry if I got your name/IHS wrong, I forget exactly how it was spelt and what IHS you were in.)
    Lunien

I know there was a few more people who were in those squads, but as it's 2am as I'm writing this, I really can't remember exactly who else was there, I apologize. =( Also, I'm sorry if I spelt anybody's name wrong.

These men played their hearts out, they successfully defended positions that we had no right to defend, they successfully assaulted flags that we had no right to attack. Throughout the entire night, they were prompt on coming in with the kits I asked them to, and were always 2 steps ahead of the individual plans I had set for them. Dissonance, and Drennyn, for instance, knew exactly what I wanted them to do on CampGib defense, even though what I wanted them to do wasn't exactly conventional, they followed through flawlessly, cept for that one TK from Dissonances RDX (hey, nobody's perfect!). Dissonance especially did an amazing job keeping the anti-buggy RDX trap up, killing every buggy that drove that path except one, which died to Drennyn's motion mines. I admit I was a little worried giving someone I've never seen before, with no TG tags the job of Recon, but you more than exceeeded my expectations.

Throughout the entire night, CoffinMaker, BBMag, and Cavali proved themselves time and time again for being amazing Squad Members. CoffinMaker not only kept the squad's atmosphere jovial, but did a stunning job at EMP locking every single enemy vehicle that was causing us problems, throughout the whole night. There was one point in Camp Gib where we were defending Eastern Docks as EU, and even though 2 squads were attacking us with Walker support, this group of skilled players were able to co-ordinate each other to take down the walker via EMP grenades and RDX, while still successfully defending the flag from the infantry rushing our position. BBMag and Cavali both played the Assault kit to an almost perfect science. There were a few rounds were one of them would be the lone Assault kit in the squad for extended periods of time, and despite the squad being under heavy pressure, they both did a splendid job of keeping everyone alive.

Cooling when he was playing with us, came in engineer, and all I remember hearing out of him the entire night was "Enemy (insert vehicle name here) is down." Happened so much his voice is now ingrained in my head.

My hat's off to these men for making an absolutely exceptional night out of tonight. I apologize to the other team if it felt like we were team stacking on skill. We won what I think was 10 rounds in a row, about half of them by 100+ tickets. If anyone's to blame for that, it's myself, there was just no way I could stop the streak of awesomeness these guys were producing. I know I've been big on anti-TeamStacking, so if you want to call me a hypocrit, go ahead, it was worth it though.

As I said before, I'm almost positive that I'm missing somebody from that list. Unfortunately I don't have the time right now to go back to the BR files and see who I'm missing, but if I did forget you, PM me and remind me so I can add you to this thread. You deserve the recognition.

Why not nominate some of these guys for the valorous unit ribbon? But remember, this really is for OUTSTANDING teamwork that goes past the high standards of good TG squads.
