Changing your approach goes a long way....
Earlier today I ran a walker squad on Operation Shingle, PAC side. Me and Mixa were piloting it, and to great effect. We ended up winning the round about 80 or so tickets up. How? Well, in no small part to Crux's write-up. We played defensively, harrassing and wrecking the enemy while staying on the safety and tactically superior high-ground of Command. Coupled with a responsive and adept commander (a pubby at that), our walker only went down once. And due to the enemy's disorganized and incomplete attempts at getting revenge, we were able to secure unrevived kill after unrevived kill. I ended the round with 46 kills and only 3 deaths. Mixa died a few more times, being a good repair monkey, but still only died around 10 times. We even took on two enemy walkers at the same time and won, by using the natural cover of Command and attacking when the enemy was overheated or EMPed.
Round finished in PAC's favor, around 84 to 0. Thank you Mixa, |)3struct0r, and Crux for this wonderful learning experience!

Re: Changing your approach goes a long way....
Yeah this was great tactic and saw Quade using this earlier (against me, damn him!). But yeah perfectly goes with Crux's post as we stayed at the back side and only contacted few of the hostiles we could have, as we left Dunes untouched, saving us from many EMP blocks!
*Team killed once*
But yeah sucks to die that much as repair monkey, even though I ended up with 16 kills (from which 5 came with motion main bait
). Fun round and good gaming, we had and excellent commander too and actually had no need to send any sqauds to the side we were guarding!

Thanks for the kind comments gents. It really makes me happy to see I'm not wasting my time and those posts make a difference for some people. Nice work on the excellent round!
