    Awesome Camp G Round

Tonight on Camp G we ended up in a stalemate at Toll ( no surprise ), As PAC CO, I had ordered my team to play defensively and bleed their tickets down. PAC never charged Toll.

The result ended up both sides holding their ground and ranking up lots of points. I have attached the squad summary from the round, check out the squad scores!!

    Nurse squad FTW!

Revived this one sniper a total of 15 times (Snake46) and he still wouldn't move from the damn traincar.
Also, revived Insun more times than I can count (he really loves that corner on the east side) and had my squad revive basically every orbital the EU CO sent.

Nurse squad was fun. I had 6 rescue pins which translates to about 50 revives I pulled in that one round.
    Fight!

Fun round, I sent more time in the walker for this round than I have in probably a year of rounds combined. I only wish that Lyra had a name tag on (it must have been floating somewhere), I kept TKing him by accident.

    Re: Awesome Camp G Round

When I joined, I squatted down near the Toll flag basically running around with my ammo crate to resupply all the rocketeers and other support players. The grenade and rocket spam was becoming intense, so I pulled back to a higher position and set up a position on the bridge south of Toll. I kept expecting the PAC team to eventually push through, but when it became apparent that they were content to ticket bleed us (and were doing a good job of it) I left the bridge and moved forward onto the roof of the building west of the flag. I popped some more folks with my Ganz, but kept getting pestered by a sniper, so I switched to that class and discovered that many PAC players were sitting just inside the fog line with no apparent concern to move. I sniped a good number of players who refused to move from their positions, even after popping them three or four times.

Haha, I was having a sniping duel with this guy, he was so stubborn. I kept headshotting him time after time and he refused to move. I don't think he was killed by any one else but me.

This is actually not true: once PAC takes one flag, it stops bleeding, and from that point on, no matter what happens, neither side bleeds tickets. (Unless, of course, one of the sides has no flags.)
During that standoff, neither side bled tickets -- the PAC was just better at reviving people who died.
Also, the PAC has innate advantage due to terrain -- it's easier for them to pull revives, and they are spread out over a larger area so nades/rockets aren't as effective.

It was very fun. Half of the fun came from Zhohar droning on and on about how our pubbie squad members were not moving around and kept standing still and risking being hit with grenades/rocket fire

As soon as PAC pushes in however, EU immediately gains an obscene advantage since they have three sides to pummel the attackers from, in relative safety from the attackers. A well-defended Toll Station is a deathtrap.

I am impressed by the discipline of the PAC team.

It was nice to see a team just defend the flag. I think we maybe had one small squad that kept trying to push into toll, but for the most part we were all content to get as many rocket kills and revives as possible. I think I had somewhere around 5 or 6 rescue pins also.

With less than 20 tickets left for EU, our squad decided to make a last ditch push on toll to see what would happen. I ran my walker in for a kamikaze run and blew up in the process, but our SL did get on the flag and it was fun to watch his spawn go green, red, green, red, green, red a few times as he kept getting revived on the flag. The round ended less than a minute after that.

I was commanding PAC and saw that...laughed my head off the whole time watching the green dot go red, then green, then red, then green and so on...way too funny to see! Wish I had the video of that one!

I had to compliment the PAC team several times for their discipline, they followed orders and held their ground. Great job to them all!

I initially kept trying to orbital the walker, but the initial EU walker driver was good and made it tough to get him, so I switched my orbital tactics and decided to orbital EU folks who were sitting in a bad spot for revives. I nailed tons of EU guys on the cat walks and parts of roof tops at Toll. The funny thing was the same people would go back to the same spot?? So I hit'em again and again?? In all, only 1 person I placed on orbital on was revived, the rest were killed contributing to the ticket drain on EU. I don't know how many I killed like that, but it was a lot ( CO's don't get to see their kills at the end of a round).

The key to the PAC victory was the discipline of the players and the constant revives going on. The EU CO's orbitals were virtually useless on impacting ticket loss as the PAC deaths were always revived.

    Good times!

I found him a few times with rockets.

Unfortunately we had a pub Commander and lots of Pubs on the EU side. They just wouldn't stay back and be patient. A few more TGers on the EU side and we may still be fighting that battle.

He was in our squad, I must have revived him 15 times as well, he just would not move!

That was a great round though I haven't broken 100 points in a long time, it felt good again! Revive, heals, and supply point were flowing like a river that round!
