Fall of Berlin, June 7th - PAC
This match placed as the most memorable matches I'll ever have. I played CO from the start with 5x TG squad leaders. 2 of them were vehicle assets. Some people should provide screenshots later as mine glitch out my game.
The round started as normal. I ordered all SLs into the APC to triple bomb Crossroads. That failed as I didn't see any squad members spawn on the SLs. Quick death? I do not know. The crawl started as the normal standoff at crossroads. I myself kept the walker at bay for about 7-8 minutes of zero action. I kept a timer up and OSed the walker as soon as it spawned, denying the EU APC any real support. This worked 2 times and took it out in action 3 times. This allowed us to capture Crossroads at about -80 tickets. Roadwarrior pushed the north flack to Outpost a numebr of times causing a number of distractions to the EU team, thus spliting their forces up. This allow the front flank to outgun at Roadblock and slowly push them back to Statue. Just as Roadblock fell, Statue fell no longer than a minute later. At this point we are about -50-60 tickets down. with our tickets reaching 0 fast. Looking at the resources at hand, the location we are at, defending wasn't an option. EU was a well setup team with skillful players. Outshooting them was not an option. My only option was capout.
I jumped on comms and ordered all my squads including assest to bumrush the flag at all costs and neutralize that flag. Oldgunny squad was ordered to hold the north flank in the chance that a SL would break though our lines. The north flank at outpost is about the only flank the EU can take advantage once you have them confined to their flag. This EU break did not happen. The APC at this point went down and things started looking grim. I told Gunney's squad to move into a firing position east of outpost. This allowed a hold in defence EU numbers for a few seconds. At this point 2 or 3 EU guys somehow sliped through on the south side of statue. And then... 4 tickets and a neutral flag at outpost happened. The Pac team still had > 30 tickets left. Our tickets quickly fell to 2. There was no other thought than triage. The order went out as fast as I could think; "Keep everyone alive, no one dies. Revive!" My 2nd thought was Statue, it was in danger and as soon as I said anything, 2 SLs of mine already spawned for interception.
The capout was ours 2-0 PAC. The best round I every had to date.
As soon as I have screenshots, I'm filing for nominations
I learned that even in the face of defeat, there is always an option. There is no letting up no matter what. Once defeat takes over. They will steamroll you. You might lose the round, but stand your ground and keep it together. Think one step ahead. Where are they going to attack? You might lose 0-100 tickets, but what if you cutt your loses to 0-40? I rather play a 0-40 game than give up and tell my squad to have fun and lose at 0-100 tickets. If you are steamrolled and manage to recover something, that is a far better win than winning itself. But if you can still win, it makes the victory taste bitter sweet

Re: Fall of Berlin, June 7th - PAC
That was....an utterly awesome round!
I was in the APC with Flik on PAC, we had some unfortunate moments, but other than that I think our kills were each around 40 ish and 2 - 4 deaths or something. I was shelling people at the start, then we switched around about the time we got statue I think, so Flik shelled Outpost. At that point I had people running into exactly the same spot again and again and I could barely hit them between 2 objects with my machine gun but got 5 or 6 kills right there XD
As for the Commanding, Squad Leading, the push, cap out, kills and revives...very nicely done all.

I joined in about half way through that one. I was in Roadwarriors squad that was all over the place and penetrating the EU base...we probably went four or five times until we were able to make take some ground. Finishing off the last two soldiers while getting the last revive was probably one of the best experiences I've had on the server. A GREAT BATTLE!

Photobucket is down atm. I have SCREENSHOT proof. I will get it up as soon as I can.
Great round! Now we need someone to pull a 1 - 0 capout.

This is the best I could get Eroak.
I think Squad 5 was RoadWarrior, and the walker squad was HellHarry. 9th squad was OldGunney, but I can't be sure of that.

Darn, a shame I missed this round. I was in TS though, and I remember hearing someone presumably on the EU side say "someone just kill 2 people!!" Nicely done by the PAC side.

Re: Fall of Berlin, June 7th - PAC
Personally, this was the most amazing round I have ever played on this map. It didnt' feel that way at the beginning when we had a hard time breaking though Crossroads, but once through, the game turned around rapidly.
A good example of teamwork on the PAC side!
