camp g cap out 7/20
I was hoping someone on the winning side would post, but I thought it should be discussed.
Score at capout with all EU dead:
EU 49 - PAC 1
EU 0 - PAC 1
If I had been on the winning side, I think it would have been the most exciting finish of any pub game I had played in.

Re: camp g cap out 7/20
Im at work right now but i got the BR file and screens. It was truly epic on a truly epic night. Anyone from my squad will tell you that I was screaming like a girl for players to get on flag. Thanks Zoraster for posting this because I was hesitant but it was a well played round. We nearly had a cap out on Central only to lose Central, Harbor, Ruins and EU. Grabing it all back we only had to take ruins. Then we lost EU and took Ruins. With about a 70 to 30 lead I thought Pac was done for but i did not give up. I pushed to the back of EU Base pulling most the Enemy team (EU) with me but the other squads did not push the front. I respawned and decided to rush front second floor. By the time I got up the ladder at EU we only had 5 tickets left. Rushing in with my squad behind me we got on the flag, the entire team came with this time. An Epic fire fight took place on the first floor of EU Base. When the smoke cleared we had 2 tickets left and many bodies down. I screamed (again like a girl) for revives as we had 1 ticket left. I held my breath as I waited to see if the cap out was going to proc or the final ticket. Game ended in a 1-0 cap out, Epic.

Re: camp g cap out 7/20
It was a horrible round....we should have had it in the bag but the EU lost almost 30 tickets for the PAC's 10 for the last few minutes. Should have heard Damonte's elated yell that we won, until we corrected him

Re: camp g cap out 7/20
A truly awesome round. That was the round PAC had a mass disconnect at the start wasn't it? By the time I rejoined (only now on EU side) PAC were down a noteable 30 tickets or something like that but with even teams in terms of numbers; so I decided to switch sides back to PAC...thought 2 people up would make it more fair. As Sidious said, I noticed that rose to 3 or 4 people by the end of the round but...no one can argue that it didn't make for a much, much more fun game XD
I joined PAC when we had Toll and were pushing Central...which we took as I got there. Then the rockets and frags started raging between Ruins and Central, I got a couple revives and kills and such, but I felt disapointed, thinking it would turn out to be a stand off. Then I thought: "this isn't as bad as a stand off, where is everyone?" *looks at map* we had a squad moving in on EU. Surprised, I found myself pushing to ruins just before the SLer asked, and had a bunch following behind me. I only saw 2 people at ruins, took them out whilst I was on the flag and they were busy shooting the people following; we capped the flag.
The next couple minutes were some of the most important that round I think. Seeing as we'd all noticed the enemies' ticket lead, and the moment we left Ruins we got hit by a hail of rocket / frag fire. A bunch of people were rushing around for revives and health; I could tell everyone was desperate for the revives, trying not to miss any. Once that'd died down, taking another look at the map, it was obvious why. A squad was already at the North / West corner of EU Base, very nice work LordMeatwad, as it allowed the push straight in the front.
Looking at the tickets I thought we were done, I expected enemies everywhere, even though it was basically our entire team entering. What I find is the flag going down, and the couple enemies I see get dropped instantly from some random direction...sheer numbers overwhelming them. We must've taken the flag then, with the 2 or 3 tickets left...but all I saw was the sudden rush by 3 enemies I think it was, behind the grating, taking fire from our entire team. I thought, that's it, their team is coming back to the flag, we're done.
As the bodies finally fall, I realise we actually took the flag already: *looks at scoreboard to see how many enemies are left alive*...NONE, and everyone holds their breath to see what happens...
Everything was quick about it from the moment I joined in again, but I had no idea it was gonna end so brilliantly.

Re: camp g cap out 7/20
yes Pac had a massive disconnect that round. The 21st and Mth had previous been on the same side and won a few rounds in a row. Most noteably a really close 16p Verdun that we won 6-0 under the command of Damonte (got that BR as well). In that game we only had church when it was 8 to 8 and won over bleed by kills 6-0. Anyway back on this round... PAC had a mass disconnect which include alot of 3rd members. So I told my squad and 21st members that we will switch sides. As people loaded back in the teams got mixed up alittle which was good. Already at disadvantage I quickly pushed past Harbor to grab Toll. Then central (when MrJengles enters) then ruins then EU base. By now EU gained Toll back but lost Harbor. Then took Central losing Toll, and the rest of the story is told in my post above where I nearly capped them out on central only to get stuffed while they retook EU and Ruins symitaniously.
Screens:

Re: camp g cap out 7/20
There was another Camp. G. cap out last night 7/23/09. Sorry no screen shots unless someone else got them.
There was some pretty organized squads on the maps for a bit there. At one time, on Belgrade, on one side I saw a 21st squad, a 9th and I was leading a couple other 8th with some other TGers. I believe I remember a 3rd squad on the other side. I almost wish I could have been commanding that round, it would have been very easy experience.
