Tunis 8/15, Saturday Night
Overall last night's rounds were good, but this particular round epitomized why I love Tunis. I'm not sure I have screen captures.
The round started after the millionth server crash when Daddy skipped the rotation forward to Tunis (anyone else get sick of the following three maps in order? Cerbere, Camp G, Sidi?). The server very quickly filled. There were probably 8 21st, and 4 (5?) Mth on, so we split up (note: zhohar took the 21st's side, team stacker
). Overall, there were probably no more than 2 or 3 nonregulars on the server.
The round that followed was Tunis greatness. All three flags were well defended at all points in the round, but all three flags changed hands quite a few times, power especially. It was a show of exactly why a good team should always be able to have a chance of capturing a very defending Tunis flag. Zhohar's tactic seemed to be the instasquad bomb which was devastating when we were defending even slightly off the flag. Our tactic was usually a slower, more methodical attack on a flag with lots of nades involved. Both tactics worked against skilled defenders.
In the end, our side triumphed, and though the ticket count wasn't all that close (perhaps 50 tickets?), it was far more competitive than most any other round I've played in a while.

To be fair, the 21st and friends then proceeded to win the epic 5 second struggle in Shuhia 16p for Central by getting their first. Since both sides used all of their major squads in that action, we didn't manage to capture another flag leading to a major defeat. Fortunately, the pain did not last long.

Re: Tunis 8/15, Saturday Night
Definitely a good fight.
Highlight of the round was your push on Power Station. We were prepared for it, and you did it slowly too, but it was so methodical and overpowering that there was nothing we could do about it.
I'd asked my squad to slow you down with Grenades NW of Power, but you were slow and calculated. You pulled revives, and just properly out-manouvered and outshot us.
I was impressed.Fight!
