    a squad to remember

Its not all that often that I write something in here but this is worth it.

The round starts up on Cerbere and I start a squad and get lyra and then open it up. TutiXtreme, CapucinoBob, ABloodyJinx, and Frozenchrome join in to make our marry band of soldiers. Unfortunately in my "old" age I forget who exactly but we get one engy (maybe frozen), Bob takes support, and lyra grabs recon. The round starts with the squad in at south town. PAC is quick and gets a buggy moving up the main road quick. Our engy barely gets some mines down in time to cause the driver to bail out early while someone else drives the buggy further up into a second engy who kills the buggy. Our squad takes out the recon who got out the instant he bails without time given for a possible squad to spawn in. The push is then heavy up the west road on southtown and continues to surge with the majority of the PAC team for a while but still held at bay by a stream of fire descending from the squad only sustained by the copious amounts of supplies that Bob was handing out. The communication inside the squad was superb with all the players getting revives, Bob must have given me his support kit two or three times just to get that revive. But rest assured I returned the favor.

    Got that revive!

But back to the action, Lyra was our dedicated demolitions man, making sure that our backs were covered from a flanking squad and doing a lot of the heavy killing on those brutal pushes up the middle road to the entrance of southtown. You know its a party when you see bodies fly across the road. The enemy team was resilient though and made a strong push to remove bleed and took church. The move removed bleed and allowed for extra time to try and break our line but Damonte stepped into commander and provided vital information to the team to head off any pushes. As the rounds came to an end one final push came to the west road of southtown. It was a mess and as the nades stopped flying I saw a recon sneaking through. His efforts were well rewarded with his very own artillery strike and a solid confirmation from the CO.

I cannot understate how awesome the squad was, so of the best fun I've had in a good bit. Great communication and dedication, a true example of all that is good with TG.

    Thanks guys

Great job to Reaper's squad as well as the whole team in general. I did everything I could but everytime EU soldiers were already looking our way anticipating the attack or forces were will shifted to where they were needed.

    Re: a squad to remember

As CO for the entire round, it was a beautiful thing to see the squads flowing east and west to so effectively curb the assaults on the South Town and Church flags.

The PAC walker was never able to be effectively brought to support the assault, thanks to diligence of the EU engineers (and one scrappy recon with RDX who was not Lyramion).

In the end, Torres managed to slip through as a recon and Damonte placed a well timed orbital strike in his path which wound up being dropped pretty much on his head.

Good job guys, I thought you guys did a very good job at South town.

    Oops I did it again...

I was recon over at South town.

I was the one who gave Bob the hang over on the over hang at South town... I am glad he got revived.

I do remember blowing the walker up with my recon kit.

Nice write-up. Zero deaths as SL is always a sign of a good squad.

That was a very enjoyable round indeed. I did start off as the engie an remember barely getting my mines down in time. The squad members jelled so well. As always, tis a pleasure to be lead by you Reaper
