Had no idea you where fraping that round Alvin
. Nice iniative despite me hating the sound of my voice....to me, I sound creepy! And I think I said command 300 times in the first 10 seconds....
The last thing you hear in the video is to fall back to columns which we did and then held for the rest of the round. We also lost command again. If I remember it right, we did try to retake command again a few times togheter with some other squads but that didn't work out so we ended up just defending columns. Had a solid ticketlead the whole round more or less so we attacked a lot more than I usually would recommend.
Was a nice round, had a good squad. I will let others comment on the performance and what we did. One hindsight is that I mayhap should have asked Ox to be support (he joined later in the run) instead of assault medic since he is so good with the shotgun.

Yeah, I hope you don´t mind, Gor... I´ll ask the next time. I was really hoping to record your tactics on defending Toll at Gibraltar but another squad got that assignment first. Perhaps another time?

Sure....but 'my' tactics is to put it wrongly. I stoled the tactic from Fearless-Leader!
Don't know how I would react if I knew in advance I will be getting filmed. Might be better to ask me afterwards
An idea I have had for a while (talked to some people about it) is to try to make a film focused on showing how you read the map and it's effect on your decisions. Not saying that I'm any special at doing it, but a) it's one the things that good sl:s tends to be good at b) I struggled a lot in the beginning to learn that c) if other sl:s would do similary aimed movies you can compare notes and hopefully we can learn from eachother.
For new people it also might serve as an additional explanation of WHY we do some things a certain way. Mayhap if I try to do it will inspire someone into thinking "hahaha! what an moron, I can do better than that" so more people step up and sl

I'm half way through waiting for it to load, and remember some of this round. I had 2 fun rounds on SHingle, 1 attacking and 1 defending. My squad did a good job, whilst I was lagging like mad. I'll show you what I mean shortly..
Ok, finished watching. I seem to remember getting this flag back? Might be confused, but I enjoyed that 10 minutes.. What caused the problem was also the squad outside command, keeping us from reaching you near the flag. We couldn't shoot both ways and died trying.
Oh, and as expected, a great video, nice editing, and cool intro clip. Something else we will all want to steal from you! Where's Silver?? We need some sweet talking....

The teams were pretty even, I remember having a hard time keeping alive.
This video is focused on the command flag but there was a really fierce fight for columns as well. My biggest blunder in this round was just at the start when the buggy rushed us, If you look closely I´m attempting to block the door with our buggy but achieving quite the opposite, making it possible for the enemy buggy to get as close as possible to the stairs. Not doing that again any time soon
Gorhaut: Having the commander frap and using that in a movie about squadmovements on the map could be great.

I really lagged that much for about 30 seconds 2 or 3 times that round. I had no voip either, but luckily my squad were vocal between themselves and handled the situation brilliantly. The only thing that video doesn't show is me clicking the mouse button like mad trying to throw a grenade onto flag, which didn't happen until I was up the stairs. Also, the start of that video I was walking towards Refugee, but I was trying to head towards command, it just kept sending me the wrong way.
