Last night, on Cerbere Landing, the teams were pretty unbalanced (9-17 in the screenshot I took). A couple of people switched when I asked repeatedly over global chat to even the teams, but not nearly enough did. I'm not going to name names, but there were some people with TG tags on the opposite team who did not switch. I didn't want to bother any admins on TS because it was rather late, and more importantly, it should be common sense on this server. I guess the point of this little rant is that if you have TG tags, live up to them.

Better to do this on Teamspeak. I rarely, if ever look at the chat. In teamspeak, admins can move people. No one will take it badly. Not to mention some people (like me) will be on TS and will move, even though I didnt see your global chat.

Why didn't the team balance work, or is that off now?

Personally, I never see anything said over the chat. Well, maybe the odd thing, but hardly ever. I would have noticed an team imbalance like that, and switched, though.

In my experience, most of the time the game won't let you switch sides. Even before the round begins and even if the other team is down by 5+ people.

I've tried several times to switch teams, but, to date, I have never been successfull. I always get bounced back to the team I was on. Something, somewhere is preventing it.

There is nothing wrong with feeling something when you shoot your enemies... as long as that something is recoil.

This week isn't the best time to be trying to disperse TG squads with the scrim coming up against BF2C on the 13th. This has been discussed many times in other threads. It is almost impossible to balance teams when TGers are outnumbered 2-1 on the POE server. The battlefield community is still spread thin and the POE server struggles since it really is the only server that is mostly full that runs POE. TGers have tried to CO and SL but all that does is end up in frustration and they either abandon their position or leave the server all together.

This is funny, because I never seem to have a problem switching teams, while in regular BF2 I never could. I'm not certain what's special about me, but I've switched teams several times in the last few weeks without getting swapped back.

The only time I ever switch is right at the beginning of a map. Unfortunately, you cannot switch until the initial timer is finished, you spawn then switch teams, which kills you. I assume you get a suicide for this, which explains why my suicide stat was much higher than I expected.
