heh, this is kinda funny. And Manifest is my witness. Today on Suez Canal. I'm running the gunship squad like normal. about 2/3 of the way in I was killed and I wanted to take a look on the points. Here I am top of the list and 1st on both teams and all I was doing was piloting the gunship. I ended up with 28 points and 2nd placve next to Manifest as CO. I also still didn't manage to get that air ribbon! arg...

All in all, Don't ever rule out that gunship as underpowered!

Nice! I will say though that when I'm playing Suez or Shuhia and someone is owning w/ a gunship (like that guy trix, for example--or you, from the sound of it), I spawn w/ the engineer AA gun, and that makes it pretty tough for the gunships. To their credit, I'm now an engineer that's now useless for killing armor on the ground, not to mention that I need to be in the centralish part of the map.

edit: as for AA engineers, sigh ... the missile launcher misses WAY too often

Read the tactics forum. I post many of my techniques there. I think it was also a hint of luck and help from a good gunner!
