Re: Tribute to beastclown
I got taking out by mines 3 times in a gunship. I fly low often to stay under AA radar and get motion alarms every round. But that one time I take a zero-zero turn. Theres that perfectly placed mine waiting for me

Re: Tribute to beastclown
Oh dear god. I did leave last night after being bunnyhop knifed for the third time by him. Suffice to say, if I see him again on the server and he's not on my team, I'm going to shoot him on sight... and then run the body over with a jeep.

Re: Tribute to beastclown
I was just on the server and beastclown joins my squad. As an admin I thought to myself 'good, a chance for me to ban a bad influence'.
However he stuck with the squad, he came in with the kit I told him to take, he moved with the squad, he attacked and defended as I ordered. If this was the first time he had been on the server then i would have said to myself 'this guy is TG material'.
Then he spoke, he's got a mic. I had two seperate conversations with him. He said when there's a good squad he's in there doing his bit, but when there's not a talking squad he entertains himself with well, all the ramming etc. I told him straight that the ramming will get him banned and that he's on the admin watchlist. He was responsive, and that is the key thing, he didn't just argue, he listening to what I said and thanked me for the fair warning.
I just want to go back again and say that when my squad was rocking and taking names all map, he was there as one of us. This to me is positive and I believe a TG education will work with this guy.
So I want to call on the 2142 TG community to take this guy under our wing and give him the TG education. Let's forgive the past and be positive and bring out the teamplayer in Beastclown. It may not be a smooth road but TG has turned players around before. This is one of the hallmark's of TG, in how we together create a gaming environment that brings out the teamplayer in people.
So who's with me in bringing out the teamplayer in beastclown ?

Re: Tribute to beastclown
He played for ages today. He isnt a bad player just has those pubby habbits.
So I got him from behind and all he hops around once. I already say something like "ahhhh beasty is going bunny again" - as I he he was apologizing in the chat and said he didnt mean to.
Seems on the road...

Re: Tribute to beastclown
I was in a squad today with him and silver. Silver mentioned to him that people had mentioned he had been bunnyhopping. He said he doesn't mean to and that he's sorry. Then it all made sense. He mentioned he played WoW.....
For those who don't play World of Warcraft. In WoW you can basically jump non-stop everywhere without it effecting anything. During combat you are encouraged to jump a lot and move around to maneuver around the enemy.
We can blame WoW for ruining another 2142 player.

I played EQ for years. but hopping didn't do anything for you. What does it do for you in WoW?

Re: Tribute to beastclown
lol thanks for the tribute i didnt realize i was being such an annoyance but this last week ive been working on my explosive gold pin (jihad rdx strapped) and my gold knife badge (bunny hopping knife rampage) and my roadkill badge (gunship ramming) i was successful i got them all so now im back to my old assault TG style of play im working very hard at my bunny hop reactions and trying to use line of sight play my intentions are not to make anyones gaming less of a thrill but unfortunately i was banned today after running over more admins
the server rules say i cant suicide kill myself by ramming into objects but thats not my intentions i just run people over to kill them then jump out and kill the rest never a thought of suicide goes through my head i actually have a lot of fun trying to not die at all during a game and maintaining a high score maybe i can get back into the server if i promise to be more friendly or perhaps never to enter a jeep again is my punishment?

Re: Tribute to beastclown
Dear God man, have you never heard of punctuation? Throw a few periods in that sentence and make it a paragraph...
In answer to your question about being banned, PM an admin or read this. Also, reading the 2142 SOPs and 2142 FAQs will help you understand exactly why you were banned (jihad jeeps, bunny hopping, etc, etc) and what you can do or how you can act in the future to ensure it doesn't happen again...

Re: Tribute to beastclown
I dont want to sound like the old battleaxe next door, but enough is enough. Having 30 negative comments about a player's actions that we all know are illegal is over the edge. The tribute post was funny, but everyone talking about it doesnt solve the problem. He's been banned for his actions and he's now in the process of discussing that with the proper authorities. We need neither trash him or put any further thought into the inappropriacy of what he did.

Re: Tribute to beastclown
Sorry about the negitive critism beastclown. Ive sceen you on the server a few times since, and you have looked more TG like. I havent been in your squad, but i havent sceen you jihad ramming, or ramming with the transport or bunnyhopping more than most people. I must have caught you at a bad time, and jumped to conclusions about your play style.
I cant speak on behalf of anyone, but I think he deserves a second chance based on other times Ive sceen him. I hope to see you on the battle field again.
Also if i may give some advice (and i think i should listen to myself abit here also,) even if your not in a good squad or a TG squad, still doesnt mean to go out and play according to how you want to play. The server has rules, such as team work, no jihading and so on. Ill admit though, and im betting the best of us in our early TG days have had the round were you just dont work as a team and have fun as a sniper or something (im slowly getting over this though, the urge is less common.)
