Best bit was out the end when Lyra podded out of the APC and you got him back for all those APC mortar rounds

Thanks for posting the Vid, Sc1ence. It is always interesting to have a more objective viewpoint like this. And, of course, immortalizing me fragging our commander like an idiot.

Rush pond? Rush pond, you say? Yeah, the nade just "slipped"

Good video. Although I am not sure why you were disappointed that the 7th was defending and not attacking you.

Also good kill on me when you jumped off of the second floor. I remember thinking that you came out of no where when that happened. It is really cool seeing it from the other side.

we felt that we stood a better chance against the 7th if we were defending and you were attacking. attacking the dug in positions of the 7th is not a task anyone wants to undertake.

The plan was to surround a flag and force it's abandonment. The Statue was intended to be a spring board for a squad into the buildings between Com Tower and Playground. They'd be the anvil while Pond and Ruins were the hammer.

Unfortunatly I didn't explain what I was trying to accomplish with the initial deployment and there was a lot of confusion so nobody got surrounded until late game. Had I better explained what I was trying to do you would've seen a much more aggressive 7th.

that was what we were expecting from you guys. we knew that holding statue would put a huge kink in your plan. unfortuantly, you took it and held it, then were able to invade our back flags like playground with ease. whenever we moved forward for ruin we got slammed by armor from pond and statue.

regardless of your plan, the one thing I thought you did VERY well was react to whatever we tried to do. when I upload the 2nd vid this will become very obvious.

2nd vid is encoded and will be uploaded in about 2 hours from this post.

    Omg.....351 megs.

To make things worse, I'm getting just under 100 kb/s from the host.

I usualy get much better speeds. I typically download at 500 KBs.
the file size is large because I hate low quality video. I like to be able to read the names of who is killing who etc.

well my site is pretty slow right now. I am uploading both to filefront right now. if anyone wants to mirror, feel free.

    my host is dreamhost btw.

if you have a better suggestion for where to upload this, let me know.

It is a bit odd that it is downloading so slow. Your last video that I downloaded from the same host was much faster. Oh well, up to 77% now.

scrim videos are now hosted on filefront. My server seems to be a bit hurting right now. Its the TG /. effect!
    FileFront scrim 1

    FileFront scrim 2

What were the fraps setting for the video? Just curious because the quality looks pretty good without dragging down your performance too much. When I run fraps I just barely get 30 fps. I do though have it running while the video setting are on all high except for shadows...

I have all visual quality settings on medium. distance it at 100%. lighting, shadows, anti aliasing are off. Screen res is at 1280x1024. I have fraps capped at 60 fps. I typically get low 40s fps with fraps on those settings. not ideal, but the visual quality of the videos it makes are worth it to me. I have a 7800GT with an AMD64 4000+ both overclocked.
