I didn't mean to dishonor what TG was about, just thought since we share our victories and loses in the after action thread, thought people might want to discuss their victories and loses in game points and streaks.. Just general talk I guess.

Sorry, but lately I've been posting threads that people have some disagreements, so I'll try to keep it with the range of TG expectations.

I agree and disagree, the only true way I have found to get a great score is through teamwork. When you on getting a bonus for every kill, revive, and resupply, points add up quickly.

I see where you are coming from and you have every right to say anything you want about my links. However, I am proud of my stats, despite this I do not find it appropiate to use stats to gain respect from fellow TGers. MAny of the TGers already know me and know my play style, so I feel like I already gained their respect as a fellow TGer, just wanted people to be more open. =D, so i do believe in your ideas and rules, so I again appoligize on my third thread that seemed to fall out of line, lol.

There's nothing wrong with being proud of your stats. We just don't want people to start thinking that stats are what gain respect from their fellow TGers.
To kinda contradict this, I think I've had a few of my better games kill wise and point wise while playing a hardcore medic on Tunis or Cerebere. Wasn't really going for kills and stuff, but to revive, often times would have to waste two guys nearby to get to the body. Somehow have added up to probably around 30ish kills a few rounds doing this. Just tonight on Tunis, I had 28 kills with 2 deaths or something very similiar. Didn't really venture too far from where we were and was focusing on just keeping our team alive and together. Though I also managed to be lucky enough to get revived just in time the few times I went down.

Bommando, I have to disagree with you. I think it is possible to get good scores AND still show good teamwork. Why do you always have to be such a killjoy man?

PS. The above was not serious in any way, shape or form. Except for Bommando being a killjoy. Because he is. He kills joy all the time.

Bom didnt say it wasn't possible...he just said TG land is not the best audience for this type of thread...You all know I'm not a 2142 player and honestly I opened this thread just to see WHICH TGer would reply as Bom did. If no one had I was ready. To the OP...don't sweat it man...

Re: Best game score and kill streak

My best streak is probably the four times in a row I spawned all the way back at the UCB instead of a forward flag because I forgot to change my spawn point. Of course I was also the Squad Leader, so everyone spawned on me, way away from the fighting.

To make my reply more of a teamwork thing I can say the highest ever teamwork points I have ever seen in a squad was "four-hundred and ninety sumthing". Pretty sure it was on a titan server.

Re: Best game score and kill streak

MonG00se, I understand you thread and idea. Yes you should be proud of your scores and accomplishments, but I thnik the point Bom was trying to make is that we do not really "brag"(for lack of a better word) about our individual stats. If you notice in most of the posts in this section, they are more toward commending the suqad or team that that person has played on. More importantly, the fun they had or whacky things that happened.
I will go out on a limb and duck from Bom, but maybe a better idea would be posting best Squad scores? Highest teamwork scores? Again though, as Bom said, having the highest score doesn't really mean that the goal was accomplished. Sometimes the person(or squad) with the lower score did more to help the team.
I think the concern may be that, we do not play for points as much as we play for the teamwork experience. Focusing more on playing as a team of teams vs. individuals on teams.
    Have fun!

To sum up what Bom was saying, he doesn't want the thread to be a big e-peen waving contest.
