AAR - 06.25.07 - Tunis Harbor
Sometime between 8pm EDT and 9pm EDT I suited up in the EU uniform and went to battle with the fine soldiers at Tunis Harbor. After direct my squad to ignore Junkyard and proceed directly to Power Station I noticed that we had no commander. Keeping in mind that I do not like to command, I decided that I would take one for the team and apply for the CO position.
My squad was doing fine, as where the others, when I informed them that I would be taking the CO position and was falling back to the Inner Docks. Well, I applied 4 or 5 times and was never accepted nor did anyone else take the position. I rejoined my squad explaining that we did not have a commander and that I would continue to apply so that we could have some support.
Now it gets interesting, a great testimony to the team-play in our community. As the clock is ticking and bodies are flying through the air, the c onstant crackle on VOIP of enemy positions and the current ticket count, calls for medics, ammo, and reinforcements; I notice that the game is almost over and we lose with an astounding ticket count of 0-5!
We had no commander and put up a great fight against an enemy that had everything they needed. I commend every soldier that was on that battlefield last night and especially those on EU that went against all odds and gave them one hell of a battle.
GREAT JOB EVERYONE!

Re: AAR - 06.25.07 - Tunis Harbor
i was on the winning end of that match, which i have to say was one of the best ive been in for a long while. It went back and forth quite a bit. We started out having two extra bases, but we lost one, and the fight was kept real close. Our team also didnt have a commander for some of the round if im not mistaken. We were losing until the were 20 tickets or so per team, tied. Nailbiter right until the end.
