Being an "armor-whoring whack-a-flagger" gets you uber points

I think the conquest server probably went down again, so I logged onto the NS server. It was only a small gathering of people from the 9th and 21st, so I thought we'd play it small squads style with no armor and cos: we didn't. I guess the server finally got full, and before I knew it I had 70 points, with 30 kills and 5 deaths. The round finally ends, and a Support Gold Badge and Armor Service Ribbon later, I accummulated more than 1250 points in a single round.

It was very fun, and I must acknowledge the people who I played with: P.Drona, machowner, ChiefMedicMan (for a while), Fallout_boy (not a fan of the band. I hope), craigbrainer (I think that was his name), and I'm forgetting someone else too, and I regret doing so.

Acting like a dork sure gets you alot of points.

When a serve has a low population it is very easy to get a high score. My best round of 98 happened when there were only 10 people on either side on a 48 person server. The closest I've come to that score on a TG server was 60ish but that was having 40+ teamwork score without badges.

It's nice when the badges do come and your score gets a boost. I know the TG style of gameplay doesn't revolve around badges and awards but I'm still fairly low rank and have two kits that need unlocked so I look forward to the extra points.

Yes, and I thought I was doing well at whack-a-moleing most of the armor that I came across, between you and ChiefMedicMan, until my cable modem crapped out on me last night. Still, good match all around.

Im usually so focused on the fray that I completely ignore the badge messages that pop up when I earn them, so it's really nice to see that end-of round score that says I earned the gold whatever badge and my round score is over a thousand. The one thing i've always been disappointed about is that you get no points for getting the gold, silver or bronze star for the round, considering all of the other awards/pins/badges give you points.

But you already earned more points than anyone else in the round!

I hate that medals give no points. They're so damn hard to get! I don't need the points anymore, but would have been such a huge help in the past to get new unlocks faster.
