VIDEO: RDX Idiocy on a pub server.
Just compiled some clips of a round I did on one of those goofball "knife-only" servers. I found it humorous that my antics actually inspired some of the other dudes to put their knives away and start blowing players up, too. I giggled the whole way through.

Was friendly fire off too?! I love that! I can just place 5 RDX packs around myself at a corner and blow myself up everytime someone walks by, and still be ok to catch Grey's Anatomy later on my TiVo.

Yeah, FF was definitely off. The way I was haphazardly throwing the RDX around I would've been auto-booted in minutes from teamkills had it been on. ;P

Though I abide by it, I don't agree with EA's policy on Knife/Pistol/<Random Weapon> only servers. It is illegal for server admins to enforce that players must use a specific type of weapon. I mean, any time of day you search for "only" in server name, you find 20 ranked servers running these kinds of games -- people want to play this kind of game. The developers ought to realize that there's a demand for this kind of play and make it balanced with respect to other types of play. Personally, I didn't even know such servers were illegal until I joined FeverGaming. I ditched my soldier and started a new one because I had spent some time on such servers. I just thought they were fun as hell to spend some time on when you're not really looking for serious, TG-style gameplay.
