    AAR: Weird Night

    7/26/07 12:30am

It was a cold night...more like a retarded night that worked well.

Round 1: Fall of Berlin. Johns AAHHH squad. Team: EU Defense.

It was a rough round where the entire round was mached point for point. We lost each flag slowly back to our Outpost flag. It was a classic retreat. At this point I managed to nab the APC while Lyra was in the walker. A few random people in my morter, Luckystrike repairing and also a unknowen also helping out on repairs. I hid the apc between the 3 buildings because the railgun at Statue was campin our main round and shooting down the alley to Outpost. It had us pinned well. But to our advange that worked well because me and Lyra were both engineers and using our autorepair to heal eachother and Lucky to pick up that overflow damage. Between repair points and morter assit kills, I picked up the most elusive ribbon "Valorous Unit Service Ribbon", at 65 teamwork points . I lost the APC to about 5 engineers, that railgun and a OS. It took so much to take out our APC and walker the assulting team lost thier lead and we pulled out with 15 tickets to spare on top of our bleed for half the round. Now thats awesome.

Round 2: Crebere Landing. John's AAHHH squad. Assulting team.

I'm not sure how we got to the Command post so quickly but about 2 minutes into the map and we already had the flag capped. I was playing recon with explosives. Lucky was also rolling the same kit. I like to camp up top and pick out head shots on Command post defense. I can call enemy movements with ease and keep my squad up to date better then NetBat. The entire round up to the last 4 minutes we held it with little problem with a 2nd squad assulting Roadblock. Up to the last 4 minutes about 3 squads including the 3rd assulted in a finally took the flag with good resistence. And good resistence it was that we never got takin of the roof. With 2 support, 2 medics and 2 recons with well placed RDX and APMs. We held that roof and took many tickets since so many came up to kill us and died quickly that they coundn't recive any revives! That round ended on a 60 ticket lead.

We sent a few bodies flying pretty far. Something that defied normal physics. It was a good night of adrenaline, close calls, and laughs.

    Welcome back Johny boy!

So it was your team that did it nice job on keeping my assets down as I took over the CO position about half way through the game. But we won the second round.

Ahaha, we were cursing you guys the whole round! "If they weren't the other team, you could almost admire this!" As we were rebuffed AGAIN for the command center flag. It is near impossible to dig out someone on the roof there, even though it seemed like BOTH commanders were dropping orbitals on you.

I was seriously retarded, I kept up APMs and RDX and person after person didn't learn to just let us go. The assult rockets kept over shooting thier mark by a meter above us so they didn't do much damage at all. We hid in that small area where the base of the comm tower is and the first ramp going up so the OS did minimum damage. One guy from the RDX flew into roadblock! I was crying at that point and finally got killed twice but I got revives and regained my composer. Lucky did a fine job keepin the assets down. From up top you can see them all and I directed him when I saw a asset up. Ghost kept us busy, I'll give him credit for that

TG AAHHH strikes woooo. It was pretty funny and yes both commanders were dropping orbitals on us. Lukily I have an uncanny ablility to stay alive. To bad it only works when I'm SLing.

Overall it was a good first night back for me. After dealing with PunkBuster(what an ainine program)for an hour, I spent a better part of the night formed up with the 9th Squad getting back into the swing of things. Nice to see my old squad m8s are still kickin butt. After that we get the TG AAHHH squad going good and made a dent in the nme.

That 1st round was unbelievable. We were doing everything we could to take down that damn apc and walker and just ended up bleeding off way to many tickets. I was wondering how you guys kept them up for so long, great teamwork. I cant remember ever pushing the entire team back to their back flag and not winning the round, you guys played very well. Great entertainment for sure.
