BTW, did you guys get any Pilum headshots in? The 3AC don't like them too much.

Re: AAR: BFCL Season 2!
|TG-21| vs [TLB]
Final Scores:
Round One: 79-0
Round Two: 92-0
Round One:
We started the game as PAC, we ran a 5 man “Sword” squad, consisting of three assaults, an engineer, and a support driving the walker. We also have a 3 man “Shield” squad that consisted of two assaults and a support. Our plan was to have Sword Squad take and hold statue, and Shield to take and hold Ruin, while pressing Com Tower from afar to make them keep some forces on the defensive. The round started off well, Sword SL spawned directly behind the jeep, and was off towards statue within seconds of hitting the ground. That edge paid off as our engineer laid down some well placed motion mines while the rest of the squad capped the flag. [TLB] waited for their walker to come to push us, however, their walker was quickly taken out by the motion mines leaving us with an great advantage and we quickly pushed them off the flag. At this point “Shield” had secured Ruin and was holding off an assault from Com Tower. Once the [TLB] respawned, they all hit Ruin in force, “Shield Squad” pulled back and “Sword” squad set up their assaults on the ridge and rained down rocket death while the walker made it’s way over to push them back. At one point they did cap the flag, but only held it for a minute for so before it was brought back under our control. By this point the match was heavy in our favour and held both flags for the remainder of the match.
Round Two:
As EU or plan was very similar, we ran the same 5 man “Sword” squad, consisting of three assaults, an engineer, and a support driving the walker. As well as the 3 man “Shield” squad this time consisting of one assault and two supports. Our plan was to have Sword Squad take and hold statue, again, and Shield to take and hold Comm Tower, stationing one support to cover the two entrances, and the assault in between to provide rocket cover and revives to who ever needed it. Once again “Sword” squad was first to statue and capped it quickly before the other team could arrive on the scene. Trying to sneak around to the north-west proved a bad mistake for them as they were cramped in the allyway making them easy targets for our incoming rocket fire. The engineer and walker worked together to quickly eliminate their walker and once we locked down statue we never came close to losing it. As the enemy squads pressured Com Tower, “Sword Squad” pressed Ruin leaving the walker on the ridge to provide covering fire for us. After trading some fire back and forth, and despite the “Swords” objective to only pull pressure off Com Tower, they managed to take the flag before retreating back to Statue to again rain death from rockets onto Ruin as they re-capped it. The whole round we never lost either flag, and with excellent reviving we were able to pull off our most decisive victory to date, 92-0 was the final total with only one 21st member had more then one death to his name.
All in all and excellent game, were everyone worked together, stayed focused, and never let up.Last edited by Hydride; 09-10-2007 at 10:22 AM. Reason: Grammer Check, gotta stop writting these late at night
