This coming weekend is Week 5 of the BFCL on Tunis Harbor (16player).

The 21st plays TAW (a bye, as TAW resigned from the tournament).
The 3rd SFD plays the 3rd Armored Cavalry (the pilum headshot accusing people).
The 9th MID plays the Armored Cavalry Regiment.

All games should be excellent.

Nope, won't see that match again until the playoffs...and you know what they say about payback...

3rd played second place 3AC tonight on Tunis Harbor.

First round, the 3rd aggressively rushed their rear base only to be passed by their buggy along the way and run into their walker waiting at the top of the ramp. Pulling a rapid 180 degree turn, they raced back by their own base, then around along the main road to the 3AC's forward base. After a brief fight we capped that flag and slowly put the pressure on their main base.

After some fierce fighting, the 3rd SFD was able to cap their rear base and take the round 80-0.

The second round they weren't so fortunate. Leaving their walker guarding the back flag, they capped their own closest flag. This same flag was quickly attacked by 3AC, but the boys from TG were able to withstand the attack. After a failed buggy rush attack, the 3rd pushed a 3-man group forward on foot. Surprisingly this 3-man team was able to take the 3AC's front flag out from under the whole team's nose. Having established ticket bleed, TG 3rd hunkered down to defend the flag. The 3rd AC kept trying to take it back, but were unable to do so.

With bleed established, and outkilling their opponents TG 3rd quickly moved forward to a 70-0 victory despite not capping them out this second round.

During Week V, the 9th Mobile Infantry Detachment was defeated by the Armored Cavalry Regiment on the Tunis Harbor map by a score of 40-1.

The 9th was defeated so I think their score was 1.

Yes, we won the first round by a score of 1 to 0 and lost the second by a score of 0 to 40. Therefore, the final ticket count for the match was 40 to 1 in favor of [ACR]. The first round was quite exciting, however, as we managed to make up a 46 ticket deficit in the final few minutes to scratch out a one point win. Both teams started the match with seven players, but [ACR] opted to add an their additional player for the second round, so we were shorthanded and it showed in the final score.

The 21st had a bye this week, we are looking forward to playing the 9th next Sunday at Camp G, should be a great game.
