Carebear: Supersquad!
I got most of the day off work today, so I celebrated with some morning BF2142. After tooling around a couple of public servers for an hour or so, our conquest finally seeded so I jumped on to play some rounds. My first round I joined with just about 1 minute left to play, and the team I was on got capped out (16 player Tunis).
Next was a map change, and up came Cerbere Landing. Zoraster had been on the capping out team, and switched over just in time to join the squad I put together. Starting as PAC, we had to attack up the hill. Or would have if a super-quick buggy run didn't get us up past roadblock. There we ran into the enemy buggy (literally), but I jumped out and my squad spawned in on me. We made the rest of the way on foot, and after a few brief firefights took the flag. The rest of the round was a mad rush as we alternated between defense and offense. But importantly, my squad did a wonderful job of following orders, sticking together and reviving each other. Not only did our team win the round, we did so handily. My squad members did such a great job I needed to post here and give them props. And I have screenshots to prove it!
Note the below scores were purely infantry. No walker-inflated kill sprees here folks!

I would have been in tha squad that game, but my game freaked out and all I could see was water below me and the trees and banners. So I had to restart battlefield.

Thanks Crux, I'd serve under you anytime...except you made me give up the life paddles for that blasted machine gun....
Great squad leading and even better teamwork, nice afternoon of TG fun!

Re: Carebear: Supersquad!
Good god man... Is your teamwork score 85!?!?!?!?!?!
Am I reading this right ? I am having a very hard time getting my 55 teamwork points for the Meritorious something-or-other ribbon... Have had many 45-48ish rounds... But for some reason over 50 is a big challenge. And I love being the emergency medic.
Impressive, especially the fact that your squad were in the top 6/7 spots of your team.

Re: Carebear: Supersquad!
I don't really worry about awards but the rounds I have scored the highest teamwork scores are the rounds I pick up supply kits, drop an ammo box and pick my kit back up and drop a health pack. You'll get ammo points and heal points. This is especially good at toll station bang outs on Camp G.

Re: Carebear: Supersquad!
A couple of quick tips:
1) Know what it is your squad is supposed to be doing. Whether that is something the commander has assigned them, or something you see needs to be done for your team to win.
2) Knowing (1), understand HOW it is you want your squad to achieve this goal. This means you have to know what needs your squad has for kits, positioning, etc. Always have a plan!
3) Communicate this efficiently yet CLEARLY to your squad. If they don't know what they are supposed to be doing, it is hard for them to do it.
4) Keep your squad focused on the goal. Things will happen as you move which will distract them - particularly when it is not a lot of TGers (yet often even when there is). Your job is to watch the mini-map constantly and notice when someone is straying from the squad, or not doing their job properly.
5) Be alert as to what is happening both immediately around your squad, and also the 'big picture'. Be ready to change your squad's goal as needed for victory.

Re: Carebear: Supersquad!
The teamwork score listed in the "best squad" section isn't the same as the "ordinary" teamwork score. As squad leader, you get a bunch of "squad leader" bonus points every time one of your squad members does something good within an order radius... or at least that's what i think it is.
I think the teamwork score that's used for the requirement of the medal is the teamwork score listed on the full scorecard.
Take note, all of the above information may be made up.
