Re: d'oh
LOL, nothing like stabbing your friends in the back, huh? ;D
As for me, it was while the server needed more people on the server. I was testing to see how much damage a headshot with the voss would do, so I aimed at one of my teammate's heads about 30 m way, not really expecting to hit him (and even if i did, i was sure he wouldn't die, i mean, comon, it's a voss)... but it turns out, i did get a headshot...and a teamkill...
Oh, and there is a hidden curse when using laptops. Sometimes you'll rest your palm on the computer, and sometimes, it touches the touchpad... and when that happens, you start firing... and when you're being your teammates.... bullets tend to go places you don't really want them to go... and when squading with an IHS... like the 7th... people tend to get a little antsy...umm... hello?

Yeah, I'm real bad at not shooting at friendlies, last night I spawned in at Statue on Belgrade and see someone running to an FAV. I couldn't see his name above him while he was running so I just blew the thing away. Oops.
And of course I've blown away countless dropable friendly assets (Sentries, Beacon, Scanners). But seriously, we do you have to shoot at a beacon for the little green thing to pop up?BF 2142:|TG| Birdman10113

Re: d'oh
Stare at it for long enough and you'll see it.

Re: d'oh
(I secretly want to destroy all friendly beacons, I hate spawning on them)
You can turn your laptop touchpad off. Usually through the control panel, then mouse, then there's an option somewhere I believe, haven't looked in awhile though.

Sometimes you have to disable the touchpad or joystick in the bios.

Re: d'oh
I know how to shut of my touchpad (actually Thinkpad now comes with software which can control all your hardware: mice, monitors, projectors, power settings, external drives, etc). I just never feel like turning it off

And I hate IDS's and PDS's and beacons because you have to wait to check if it's friendly or not... it's so hard to tell, and i just naturally shot at it... Maybe I should check the minimap ^^umm... hello?
