I have to pull out. Can't hear out of my left ear, and most of my right. Don't know what I'm going to do about our BFCL playoff against the 21st tonight.

Thanks again to Crux and Eroak for their time and dedication. The TGU is not only a great place to learn the game but also a great place to learn the core values of TG as well. Out of curiosity, how many of the big wigs ( general TG admins/3rdSFD Officers ect) are current/ex-military? Curious if some of the stuff mentioned in the class is from learning it training, or from online material adapted because it's applicable to games like BF. (Had a leg up on half the questions/formations just because I'd already covered it in 19D Cav Scout AIT)

None of us 3rd currently serve in any military, at least to my knowledge. We've definitely looked at real tactics and formations/movements, deployments, etc. 2142 is such a fast paced game, this makes it hard to apply a lot of these real-life things directly to the game. If you take your time doing something, chances are you've wasted your opportunity. One has to make their decisions much faster and just assume a lot more than one would in real life.

Well aware of how a fair amount of it wouldnt apply to 2142, when I said BF, was meaning more slow paced bf2 which longer contact reports ect would apply a little more to. Most applicably, I need to get back to playing some America's army.

I did for 2 months then I had a medical discharge for blood sugar inbalance. I don't talk about it to much. I'm still pissed about it.

I could be flying my A-10 right about now...
