1.4 beta final released

Battlefield 2142 1.4 Final Candidate Beta Released

Feedback from the community on the betas for Battlefield 2142 Update 1.4 has been invaluable in making sure it's fully up to standard . Since beta 2 we've been tuning the fixes and changes based on this feedback. But there's one more thing we want to make certain is solid, and that's server stability. To test this, we're releasing this beta file that is a candidate for the final 1.4 Update. If all goes well with this beta release this will be the version subsequently rolled out to Ranked Server Providers.

This beta will be running on a limited number of servers to make sure they're packed out at full capacity and being thoroughly tested. You can download the beta file here. Once again, thank you all for your beta feedback, we really appreciate it.

At least they're being rigorous. Based off what we usually see from EA/DICE I'm glad they're taking their time, and making sure they're doing it right.

Ya know I was really hoping for like an expansion or something featuring N. American campaign, how cool it would be to fight in NYC.

Except that I think the US is under ice? I'm not real sure how close 2142 adheres to climate change models, since the ones I've seen predict that Europe will be under a glacier, and most of the coastal US will be under water.
