Only started playing regularly again in the last month, so dont really have an accurate view, was going to say its not so bad, the occasional maybe once an hour/30mins little 2-3 sec hang/lagout before playing, and have only seen the server outright crash 2-3 times in the last couple weeks ( guees Im lucky w/ when I play)

Though tonight 830-930 Mountain (2hours behind eastern) was really bad, server iirc wasnt quite full 42-48/50. Damante/reaper were there to see it also. For a while was getting multiple lag spikes within 5mins and sporadically.



Disclaimer: Not out for heads or blaming anyone, just was under impression that any reports might be helpfull with hounding the server providers or whatever else issue may be.

I think all reports are useful, since you never know what will lead you to the solution. I wish I knew why it's been bad lately. The crash last night was especially crucial because it seemed to take my 2142cc with it, and I couldn't moderate chat after that.

Side note, capping server at 50/52 is to allow a couple slots for sneaky admins or just an attempt at preventing some of the assorted lag/crash whatever issues. ( Since I'd seen mention that they think its due to server load some of the issues).

Thankfully, the guys at DICE are supposedly testing 1.4 beta severely for server stability, so it might fix the problem. (or make it worse lol ^_*)

Capping the server at 50/52 is to allow 2 slots for the non-supporting member kick script to work. There are always 2 slots for new player connections, and if a supporting member logs into a full server, the server has time to kick a non-supporting member without disconnecting the new connection because it's full.

My ping is the usual 120-140 (UK, dno wy Lyras ping is better than mine, as he shared with me the other night over voip he said he was "FROM F&%$ING GERMANY") which is slightly further from America than Britain. Anywho, I haven't experienced any crashes, a few occasional la spikes, yes, but that's it (also, I was kicked for automatically at the start of the round, being in a squad by myself that I couldn't leave, which is probably just a bug, and that's really the biggest problem I've had). even though I haven't played that much on TG, and more now than I used to, because, well, I'm actually, somehow, getting less lag now...?

Last night was pretty bad. (10/30) The server reset at least twice around 10:30 - 10:40 pm.

I'm not sure what was going on around 10:30 last night. I thought it crashed also but when I got back on the round was still going. Guys in teamspeak were also crashing and I was still playing the round sometimes. The whole thing did crash at least once too.

My wife had to work late and I thought, "Great! +/- 4 hours of BF2142 without any complaints!" The server has been down for an hour this time,,,ouch! Why does it run so well, with all the best players logged-on, when the wife is home and grouchy? Must be some kind of karma thing...

9-1-07 10:30 pm EST server crashed again!!!! when we joined it it was completely empty at 9:30, with 20 players the thing had a ton of lag spikes!!! I swear a month ago we had a ferrari and now....I just dunno

strange, I found crux and ansabula on some 'order' server- I just can't wonder if the reason why is for the lag spike on our own server. The weird thing is, the titan server is beautiful. Can anyone tell me if we had a different server this summer?
