CC doesn't show any new maps.

I downloaded the final 367 mb patch twice and it does nothing when i click on it. Is there something I'm missing?

Ok. This is getting a little ridiculous. Has anyone been able to successfully install the new patch? EA's links to hypernia and i3d in the article listed at the beginning of this post are for version 1.25 (367MB). The link in the same article to Multiplay's site seems to be too busy (385MB). The File I linked that is on EA's large downloads site does not work at all (260MB). I am downloading the file from EA's FTP site, but it looks like the exact one on their large downloads site! Ideas? Suggestions?

I am currently downloading the file from FilePlanet, which shows it as a 367.49mb download.

Patch 1.25 was, if I recall correctly, just under 300mb.

I downloaded 1.40 from the i3d link, ran the patch and have tried servers online for several rounds. No problems. It's 367 mb big.

Already tried the fileplanet file...also version 1.25

Here is what I've come up with so far...

Fileplanet (367MB) v1.25
Hypernia (367MB) v1.25
i3d (367MB) v1. 25
Multiplay (says 385MB) too busy
EA Large downloads site (260MB) Does not work (starts then nothing)
EA FTP site (260MB) Does not work (starts then nothing)

I'm running Vista. I have already tried running as admin and in xp compatibility mode...nothing. I'm monitoring the threads concerning the issue in EA's forums. I will let you guys know if I hear anything.

I would stop because I cant run the .exe from filefront...Ill try filecloud and let everyone know

EDIT: Filecloud doesn't have it...searching google now

The filefront link doesn't open up any kind of install manager or in any way respond when I try and run it.

edit: The hypernia download made it so that I couldn't see any playable servers, trying the i3D download.

To quote EA:

"We also have some fairly unique good news for people who already have the Final Beta Candidate installed - you don't have to do anything. The Final Beta Candidate public test was such a success that, following compatability testing, we're using the exact same version in this final release. The 1.40 Final Candidate Beta and 1.40 Final Update are fully compatible, you can consider them one and the same and use either on Battlefield 2142 1.4 servers."

So do we just need to find and install the 1.4 beta version?
