This will be an internal scrimmage on Friday December 21st at 9:00PM EST. This scrimmage is a replacement for the cancelled scrimmage against WarHawksClan using the same time slot. We will be using the original signup list as the starting line up for the teams. Teams will be picked in the following format:

This scrimmage will be a school yard pickem done through teamspeak.

Everyone must be present in Teamspeak 1 hour before start of scrimmage and due to the sheer amount of people and communication that will be required please keep the coms clear. Failure to do so will result in kick and non participation.

Lorax and Crux will be the 2 captains, a coin toss will determine who picks first.
NO admins can be picked until all other TG members have been picked.
No 2 IHS members may be picked back to back on the same team unless that is all that is left.
Map will be Tunis Harbor 64 player, sorry no Tampa this time.
MAX 50 players or 25 v 25, we currently have 45 people signed up.
Teams will be even numbered, appologies to the odd man out if there is one.
Best 2 out of 3 with 3rd round side choice going to team with higher ticket count from first 2 rounds.

Once teams are picked, we will seperate into our designated teamspeak channels and will have 15 minutes of planning then its GO time, I suggest no messin around at this point, get orginized, figure out your CO and SL's and get rollin.

As of right now we have 45 people signed up and will take as many as 50, would sure like a few extras just in case so feel free to add your name to theoriginal sign up sheet

I am adhering to the original list. If more signup we will continue to add them. Once we get to 50, that is the pool for the pickem. #51 becomes the #1 alternate and so on. At this point I am not going to hold SM or non SM to any different position. The original non SM's that signed up did so knowing their chances were slim before and I want everyone to have a chance, I don't think it would be right kicking them to the bottom once again so signup and get in line, this should be very interesting to see how the teams form up.

I suggest an amendment to the team selection process.

The pool should meet in the designated channel for role as usual. Then players should be selected one by one by the team captains. As each player is selected they should either move or be moved to the team channel so it will be easier to keep track of who is going where and what not. If you want, you can even have quiet selections where the captain messages an admin and the player is moved without their name being given over TS.

If we wait to move till the very end then I forsee several possible problems.
1) People forgetting which team picked them
2) People waiting for selection 'missing' their name being called because (like dodgeball) they were waiting till the very end
3) Not enough prep time to discuss tactics as teams are seperated and made private at the last minute

If I have to sit through 47 other people I'm going to start dozing off and might miss which team I'm on. Then I'm going to get confused and frustrated over a longer 'prep period' as we throw together a strategy.

With teams being seperated as they are formed the people on the team can start formulating a strategy in private and adapt it as more are joined. That way, even as a left over, something cohesive can be presented to us to implement the way the CO sees fit. The captain can also, if need be, shift over and ask who they already have if they have any suggestions on who they should pick next. Lastly if you have an admin moving people who are AFK during selection then they will automatically know which team they're on when they get back.
