Wanted to put this out for discussion. I was on a Pub server last night promoting TG. One if the guys on there that runs the server and I got to talking about TG and what we do, he was curious if TG would Scrim his team. I told him I'd pass along the request to you. He should be registering on our forums as Dragonfire. MRC2 I believe was his "clan". They are looking for informal groups to scrim against. They play an Infantry only style of play, only using FAV's and APC's. On the server, they were kicking people for using the walker and it was posted on server that it was Infantry only. They promote Squad teamwork, supporting objective and having a good time. They are also looking for 5v5 or 6v6 scrims as well. Figured I'd toss this out for people to chew on.

There's also the BFCL: a place dedicated to scrimming in various BF games. You could refer them there and then let the team captains decide if and when they want to scrim. I'd imagine that makes the discussion and logistics a lot simpler for everyone involved.

Put them in touch with an admin if you don't want to organize the scrim yourself Xen. (Organizing scrims is something that you don't have to be an admin to do, but you should contact one of us or Tempus to help facilitate things.)

There is ALWAYS interest in a scrim around here. Especially if it's small like 5v5 or 6v6, your spots will fill instantly. I suggest you talk to someone like Anospa or Eroak who has already organized a scrim and ask them about the problems they encountered.

Well. thx for the props, it was fun playing with you Xen. Just to let everyone know, the clan is [HLC2]. We are the Hammer Lane Crew... just a bunch of friends across the USA having a good time. It would be great to have some scrims with you guys. Like Xen said, it would most likely be 5v5 and no more than 8v8 since anything more should rather just be part of a normal server. We prefer to go Infantry only with vehicles used for transportation alone. We have a 32 man server after downgrading since we all have been busy over the holidays.
Hope to maybe get something going on here. (Since i can't post a website yet) search for HLC2 and u can see our webpage.
If anyone is interested in BF2 as well, check out BF2NOW as a search (or just w/ the dot com at the end of both the names ) We still have some regulars that play the game and we enjoy going back every once in a while.

Hey. Just thought I'd get back in touch. Been very, very busy the past 2 months. Though I should open up some more chat. We are still running on 2142, but I have branched out and started a Zombiemod CS:S server and soon will have a few more servers for TeamFortress 2 and CS:S. go to--> "bcjenterprise.com" Not the best domain name, but I had it laying around and when I actually get time I will buy a better domain name.
