Good job on TS

I wanted to thank everyone that joined the BF2142 TS channel tonight. I never saw that many in one channel except for special events. I enjoyed having everyone there and showing support. One thing, we got to remember that games are going on and the chatter needs to cut down once squads start to form up. It's 95% reporting, and 5% AAR after the match.

Again, Good job and lets see this activity more often.

Re: Good job on TS

Probably the most fun recently has been the past couple of evenings. It has been much more fun on TS since the IHS people have joined us on the lobby channel.

Last night was awesome, logged in and see 25+ people in the channel. The rounds last night were a blast as well, good job everyone, lets keep it up.

I especially liked the banter in between rounds.

Re: Good job on TS

I think that Teamspeak really does make it more of an experience!
The banter between rounds is good to listen to, although I rarely have anything good to say about my performances! I hope this turnout on Teamspreak keeps up as I won't be be online untill thursday or friday night GMT.(But you know I'll be on untill the wee hours)

Re: Good job on TS

Yesterday night's 2142 channel on TS was great. People came out from their IHS channels and got together for some fun. I hope that this will happen often in the near future as its always a great way to get to know fellow TGers. A screenshot as reference:

Re: Good job on TS

Wow, that is one motley crew in the screenshot!

We have made similar efforts to populate the BF2142 channel, but they all fizzled out within a few days. If you enjoyed the camaraderie last night, please keep logging into the channel and try to get others involved in the fun.

Re: Good job on TS

When I first found TG and was introduced to TeamSpeak, it was not that uncommon to see sights like this. Truth be told, it had a major impact on my decision to become and stay a supporting member.

I look forward to joining the banter .

Re: Good job on TS

It really makes the game a lot funner to hear the banter in between rounds. All kinds of stuff go down there -- people whining at others to become SL, people gloating about Gold Stars (well, that's just me, sorry), people happy at awesome knife kills -- it's a lot of fun.

People forbidding you to use particular weapons.

Re: Good job on TS

Last night was another pretty good night. After crashing to desktop, I decided to call it a night, but I snapped a pic of TS before signing off.

As you can see, there were 21 of us around 11pm EST.
