Yes, although English and German are derived from the same family of languages (hence some very interesting commonalities in certain vocabulary), we dropped some of the really fun digraphs, like "pf."

Maybe I'll make it a goal for this year to learn a little of every language spoken by TG members. That shouldn't be too difficult, and it would expand my horizons. Hmm. We'll see.

Well, I've got a bit of a head start on German, though I don't know much beyond my numbers to 20 (and those are a bit rusty), "good day," and "thank you/you're welcome." My dad used to be fluent; I may hit him up for a few phrases. If you ever catch me online and are in a teaching mood, feel free to update my knowledge!

Let me know if want want to speak FUBAR. It requires alot of practice and usually you can only speak it for a few hours ,then you pass out from the .......exhuastion. By the next day you can't speak it again for a while.....it does require some drinking. Arithea = Ari or MEDIC!

Lol, don't watch Death Note but remembered the Shinigami part from Bleach.

Most of them are easy (having a different language as my mother tongue = pronouncing foreign or weird things easily) :

insunabula - rolls off the tongue (and i proved it to you dude )
daithi - I know an Irish guy (and I'm better than him at the Irish accent )
Zhohar - I'm guessing the "Zh" puts people off but I'm used to trying to write foreign sounds with English words, unless I've been pronouncing wrong all this time, it's not too difficult
FYAH - Considered this one, but not difficult, just not obvious .
Pfeil - Study German for a while so I know its an I sound.
Draeh - I just say dray and it seems to work for me although I haven't been in his squad too many times so I haven't been tested that much.
Razcak - Definitely always trip up here...
Shinigami - Hah, you don't watch anime without knowing how to say Shinigami THE DEATH GODS ARE EVERYWHERE

Lol!! I'm usually up for drinking, though after about the second beer (I'm a lightweight), my battlefield performance drops pretty drastically...
