Titan friday was fun...but the fun quickly became a bit stale. Pfrosty Pfriday is much more fun imo. The only drawback is those that don't have the expansion pack can't join in the pfrosty pfun.

We don't know how much longer the second server will be around, so we will not be including it in our planning or changing it around much. Regardless of what we host on it, it sits idle, which is a waste of resources.

We are going to continue trying different things on the conquest server. One Friday may be Titan, the next Frosty Friday (aka Northern Strike), then next a pick'em scrim, and maybe some vanilla conquest thrown in for good measure. Nothing is set in stone and we'll vary things up according to feedback we receive as well as what we feel best suites the community.

EA's offering the x-pac as a direct download for $9.95 for those who've put off buying it until this point.

Keeping that in mind it may be a good idea to include an end time for these events. That way people who are not playing (like Grimmfist is not interested in titan or some people you dont own NS) would know when they can jump back onto the server for some vanilla fun. Maybe a "last round" time like 1pm EST so that if a titan round is in progress everyone will know that the server will be switched over after that round is over.

I was on through the end last time and I think it was around 1:00am when everyone decided it was time to roll the server back over to conquest. Guess we play it by ear and roll it back when it dies down a bit.

I tought it might be cool to give the non-participants a time so they can plan to all hop on at the same time and give the server a second wind so to speak and keep it rocking throughout the morning. Meh, whatever the admins decide.

I agree with having the end time. Myself and others actually left the server while it was still hopping in Titan mode to go do some pubbin. Everyone's interests are different, so some people would enjoy Titan 24/7 while others may not even log on if the server is in titan mode. I would love to see Pfrosty Pfriday at least every now and then. I also love the change that Titan brings. I guess I just lose interest in it easily. But that's just me.

I actually like playing titan and as there is no way to play 2142 on a public server I thought : " could it be possible to do this TGITF again?"

Anyone else willing to play titan again on a TGITF !?

It's probably sitting idle because 24/7 Belgrade is not anyone's idea of fun... Yes, I know that after 10 rounds it will switch, but I wouldn't be able to make it through 10 rounds of the same map over and over.

I think that after ten rounds it will switch to...Belgrade.

But, it sits idle whetehr it's 24/7 belgrade, 24/7 tampa, Northern Strike, standard rotation, all armor maps, all maps.

I used to seed it when the first server was close to full, but I stopped doing that when it became all Belgrade all the time.

Yeyz!! Unfortunately I do not have Northern Strike, but hopefully the second server can be set to an actual rotation after this, so I have something to do when the first server starts getting full. Or maybe Titan maps, since I have only played those on one day. But judging from some responses, it looks like Titan might not be played much, so a normal rotation would be better?
