you know you when you played too much bf2142 is were you stay up till morning and you and your whole squad decides to play support using only the rdx-shotgun attachment, and then you decide to blatantly charge out from Toll! And your squad-mates are screaming and laughing: " i got one! I got one!" Then the next game your on the very very top of monorail and instead of using an helpful engie to take out an annoying apc and tank you emp lock it and shower it with rdx rocket goodness!

those were some great games.

*note: RDX shotgun squads are now a must have!

I was using the RDX shotgun for the first time on toll the other night. EU, as the grind at toll station was under way. I was using it non stop and got one kill. The usefulness of this weapon is beyond me.

You have to use it in large numbers! I wish I had the battle recorder for the belgrade level, every time we attacked we blanketed the area with rdx. Even by my self I found the rdx attachment to be more useful than I would expect, when pair with the shotgun. to each their own I guess.

I wasn't saying you can't use it wisely. I was just saying I never could. It seems it might be good as a short range mortar type weapon, but for that to work you'd need a spotter or some indication that where you were firing is correct. The hit-marker isn't enough because the climb of the weapon from each shot ruins your angle.
