Looks like Global is the only one who has volunteered to command so far which means he probably won't be a squad leader. In that light I'll agree to lead a squad if I'm needed to. I'm okay at it but definitely nothing to write home about.

When are we going to finalize the roster and get squad assignments posted? Its just getting close to Sunday and I am curious if we can at least name CO and SLs in order for us to start hammering out a battleplan. The ideas below are me just thinking outloud.

One person is going to be the commander. Both maps have a walker so we need to start figuring out who is going to run our walker. I would figure standard support as pilot engy as gunner so the top gunner can hop out to throw mine bait and occasionally shoot a pilum at the other walker. That leaves us with 2 4-man squads and 1 5-man squad. That leaves us with something kinda like this:

16 Player Team

• Commander - Global or Daithi
• Alpha Squad - Vortex [5 people]
• Bravo Squad - Meatwad [4 people]
• Charlie Squad - Aruncado or Global [4 people]
• Walker Squad - ??? [2 people]

Once we figure out who is CO and SLs then we can start deciding squad roles and battleplans. I don't want to show up Sunday with no clue of what we're doing so lets try and get the ball rolling. We may not have enough people signed up yet to fill the whole team but we can at least figure out enough for us to start working on a plan of attack. I'd start posting the cool maps with lines drawn on them and stuff but I'll wait till we have a CO so I don't get yelled at for doing his job. Plus... its Tunis and Cereber... the tactics on those maps are pretty cut and dry.

Edit: Actually... it just struck me... I know 16 player Tunis has a walker. But does 16 player Cereber have one too?

Edit 2: Nope, 16 Cereber has no walker. And for fun here are the maps (without cool lines and battleplan though.... yet.... mwah ha ha ha ha!)

Erm, Aruncado, where do you see Lorax signing up to SL? I haven't seen him throw his hat in the ring yet... I know I have, and have volunteered to be SL, but it wasn't mentioned. (I know that Lorax and Vortex look similar and all... )

I agree Daithi... Lyra is a beast in the Walker. As long as he doesn't mind piloting it I think we have 1/2 our walker squad.
