Well, here I am....a relatively new TG member....lamenting the fact that I can't make the first official training opportunity available to me(TGU Basic Infantry Training)
Of course there will be more classes held, and I plan on sticking around for quite a while, but I also know that work will likely interfere with future gaming events.

My question is: Has anyone at TG made or thought about making some 2142 training videos?

I'd love to see how our l33t h4x0r veterans operate, and a short training film would allow myself and others to participate and learn some of the same material covered in official classes.

Heck, I'd even watch a recording of the upcoming classes.
Just a thought....

Well, the upcoming class is going to be audio only, so that might make for some less than thrilling observance

Is it possible that someone could record this audio only class and upload the file somewhere. Just thinking that it would be good to hear what TGU Basic Infantry Training is like. It is a requirement for further training to have this completed so people who just get the audio file will still have to "sit the class" but it would show people what's involved and might even stir up a bit more interest in future classes!

Treat it like a taster! A lure if you will!

Silver has some excellent ones, but they tend to be more geared towards squad leading or to learning by copying his example. Lyramion has a few specific ones as well, including a good tutorial on rocket use. In general, though, I'd say the best way to learn would be to join the TS channel and ask for an invite into one of the squads.
