I kinda miss those days of rushing on pubbie servers with recon...
But then I remember my TG experience, and that I still rush. But in an educated and squadlike manner, which is a key difference.

I just hopped on some random NS server to check out the new maps and the Goliath. God, was it painful. I squadded up, and on all three maps I had SL's who were giving orders in one direction, and then lone wolfing it to another flag to solo cap. Then they would just give up their plan and do whatever until someone asked for orders.

I even had one SL cap a flag with us, and then run off for another - not bothering to come back when the flag we just cap'd 10 seconds prior went gray.

And everyone was a sniper.

I tried to run a squad to no avail. Everyone ignored me and just hoped for unlocks. Which didn't happen the entire time.

Go pubbing with a squad of TG'ers and you will glow for days!!! We did this the other night and consistantly scored over 200 as a squad, just tore everyone up. And from this, you bring others back!!

I have to agree with Modkaman, you guys run a very nice server, it's a fresh change from the other ones, and a joy to be in. Keep up the good work.

Books I have read- Watership Down, No Country for Old Men, Catch 22, Almost every single Discworld novel, Crime and Punishment, various fantasy books (Diana Wynne Jones, Terry Prachett, Neil Gaiman).
