How many new Regulars aren't in an IHS?

I see we've had quite a few new supporting members recently. I was wondering if any have tried out for any of the IH squads, or thought about forming a new one?

Many old members don't join IHS for some reasons. I don't know if you can create one right away but you sure can try to get in one. Take a look at the IHS wikis.

I was in an IHS for a while, but left when I knew I was going to lose my internet for a while. I've just never really felt the desire to try out for another one since my return. Don't know why...really.

This is a great piece of advice--some IHS's might not be recruiting right now. I know the 3rd is about at capacity.

The 8th is currently shut down to recruiting as well as we work on some re-structuring. I personally would start with the Irregs. They are a great bunch of guys, have unlimited slots and gives you a great opportunity to understand the IHS mentality and that feeling of bonding with a like group. They also really help you get up to speed with the philosophy of TG and what we truly stand for. Check them out and tell Axis I said HI.

I have seen some very nice signs of growth from the 21st. With the addition of some recent recruits, they are a formidable squad.I dont know if they are recruiting. You could aways start a new squad if you find a few guys willing to put in the time. If you need some help starting up a squad, do not hesitate to ask some questions of other IHS leaders. You can learn from their experience.

Not that I'm aiming to do it, but are there any benchmarks to starting a squad, Sc1ence? There's nothing on the wiki about it (that I saw).

Part of the reason I didn't look into the Irr was that I wanted to find a group of guys to play with regularly as possibly competitively, and I didn't want to join the Irr only to move on to another group down the line.

In all honesty (asking for honest constructive feedback here, guys,

) from those that have seen me on the server, do you think that I need more time with a group like the Irr to "better learn the TG way"?

Actually I believe the Irreg's have put a hold on recruiting for the time being.

as for current IHS PM the current leaders

3rd = Crux or damonte
8th = Insun or Rage
9th = Lorax or Pfeil
21st = Xero or Meatwad

Hey Skullhedman,

If you would like to form an in house squad, you are 100% entitled to do it. Understand going in that it is quite a bit of work and it is also very rewarding. In House Squads are really looked up to at TG, so it's important that when they are created that they are set up to create those ideals in others.

In order to create your in house squad:

1) Figure out the "whats" and "whys" around your squad.
2) PM Apophis or Asch around your desire to create an in house squad.
3) Start to recruit enough members where you can field a squad on the battlefield.

Hopefully that helps.

Honestly, many people currently in an IHS here on TG got their start in the Irregs. Even though I understand they're not recruting right now, they're a great group to join to get a feel for what an IHS is supposed to be. You seem to have a pretty good handle on the TG way of things, but I think it would be good for you to be a part of the organizational structure before creating your own offshoot. Just IMHO.

Didn't even notice the Irregs were mentioned.

Yes we have temporarily suspended the signing up of new Irregs (Axis just closed the thread today). We are a little full with about 80 members on the books, and possibly some that haven't been accounted for.

EDIT: And by ALL means squad up with us or any other IHS. While the Bf 2 and BF 2142 are still the main games, I know the Irregs play ArmA and CoD4.
